Much love, glad to hear you're continuing on. I'm a relatively new 40k fan coming from Star Wars in the last 3 years and I really was just so disappointed to hear about femstodes. It seems like there's no end in sight to the overpoliticization of our media. It's incredibly depressing, though I'm glad to see that other average joes like myself, whom aren't crazy politically, speak out about it. I am actually what you'd likely consider a progressive, but it's always been clear to me that the way media has been continually altered in all of my favorite franchises has been explicitly to serve a political aim at the cost of the quality of the product. This has been the case with Star Wars especially, in which we all got to witness the greatest character assassination of any piece of media ever written. The destruction of the character of Luke Skywalker was devised so they could craft this female power fantasy within the Star Wars universe. There was no care for the writing, no care for the rules of the universe, nothing. All in order to propagate a political message. I'm fn tired of it too. Even made a video about qualifying the word "woke" into a non-useless f off definition that it seems to ordinarily take. I utterly hate that word for a number of reasons, but paramount is that it's become as useless as yatzi or any ism or phobe. So I made a definition that isn't, or at least I can easily define with exact parameters that myself as a progressive can communicate to other progressives as my sensibilities were used in its creation. It was quite difficult to pinpoint but I think I did so fairly well, and I'd encourage you to take a look. I tried to make it narrow in scope, and I'd say it doesn't even have to be a leftism thing, it can be applied broadly to any type of politically motivated creation that sacrifices the quality of the work in lieu of the political message.

The problem is there are few creators willing to say how they really feel about their particular fandom because they lose that potential audience/subscription. I don’t have that problem considering I’m blocked by an overwhelming majority of the Leftist 40K people for having the objectively correct opinion😂

@@Weezypillar Yeah, a "friend" of mine almost completely stopped talking to me just after he read the title of my video when I posted it. This is because of my more progressive sensibilities that I've hung around "friends" such as these. I always see people make the argument that if you feel included when they spew the isms and phobes at you, you're probably those things. But the content of the video I made is totally in line with progressive sensibilities, but because I used the word "woke" in the title, it's seemingly okay to completely write me off. So I certainly understand why they would be hesitant to bring up even a minor issue, let alone something of actual import. It forces me to constantly reevaluate my politics emotionally because I can't stand these kinds of holier than thou propagandists that seem to be infesting every single hobby or interest I have.
