Take a look at this trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II that was revealed at the Warhammer Skulls 2024 event.
Space Marine 2 features an all-new co-op mode, letting you slay xenos with up to 2 friends in 3-player “Operations Mode.”
Each PvE and PvP mode lets players choose between 6 available classes, ranging from the unflinching Bulwark and his Combat Shield to the stealthy Sniper and his Camo Cloak.
Players will also be able to customise their Space Marines, from helm to greaves, with a wide selection of colours, heraldry decals, pauldrons, gauntlets, and more! The Season Pass will grant them even more cosmetics, while new content like missions, enemies, and weapons will be available to all players through regular free updates.

There's no reason to pre-order, ever. It only started because shops used to get in limited copies back in the day, and if it was a popular game you might not be able to get a copy on day one. With digital downloads, scarcity isn't even a thing anymore, and pre-ordering only provides a pass for publishers to treat their customers poorly. Don't ever pre-order.

@@MrFiremagnet In the first game, the protagonist was a Captain, and only led two other men in mission, even though he could've mustered many more if he wanted to. In the 2nd, he's demoted to the rank of Lieutenant. He supposedly has a hunch on something (probably a Tyranid vulnerability they could've exploited) and asks for two squads and the Captain refuses because he doesn't want to risk men and resources on a hunch, so he only gives him a very few men and the opportunity to check that theory out.

Don't understand why the WH40k sound design team never put weight or heaviness into their guns. There's no massive bass clunk or chunk..... its like they put treble on max for a T.V. setting and bass was left alone. WH40k is a game that would be a thousand times better with great audio/sound effects but it heavily lacks in that department for such a brutal setting. @@rakelodakel, DEI stands for Diversity, Equality, Inclusion but they actually do none of that, they just make things worse, while ruining many entertainment companies at the same time. GW got DEI involved with Warhammer and DEI made them change a piece of lore that hasn’t been changed in 4 decades, while trying to gaslight their consumers about it. If you don’t know which lore, it’s about Custodians. Just look up female custodians lore change and you’ll get the picture.

This is when Guilliman is revived. Imagine you get to play him for a mission or two...just wading through nids in slow motion, slaying them by the hundreds. Or a Dreadnought. My body is ready.
