i had this vegeta on preorder when it was first announced and when i finally got him in hand i was not disappointed I'd say the only gripe i have about mine is how his wrist peg on his left hand comes off with the hand whenever i try to swap it. other than that he's an amazing figure

my vegito blue sometimes do that as well. thankfully, df wrist pegs arent as tight as figuarts so they re less likely to break.

I was thinking on buying this one to make a Vegeta base for the Buu saga. But then I saw the upcoming Vegeta Super Hero and changed my mind. For a Majin Vegeta figure is good enough, but a little dissapointing, both DF and Bandai.

that's a good thinking. but on closer look, they're not the same. outfit, color, and everything. so far, 2018's majin vegeta body is the only accurate version. thats the reason for the steep price increase... they're not awfully disappointing as a figure, just not worth scalpers' price.

forget the figuarts version. this one is the better alternative. i wouldn't say this would replace bandai's, but as an action figure, this does everything bandai's does plus some. unless u'r figuarts-only collector, you wont be disappointed with him.

yes, they're still as good as new to me. not inferior than a figuarts.

df joints are always as good as figuarts. except the ssgss kaioken goku which i think was rushed during production. i got their older figures that's still as good as new. awakening vegeta is great, just as good as bandai's. but u still can get unlucky getting a copy with qc issue. honestly, bandai's qc is no better either. so it's a luck of the draw really.

Did you worry about him breaking like did you use some type of oil for him so he won’t break?

i dont. I've never experienced joint breaks on any DF, yet. i just do warm water dip to weaken the peg a bit. but, if you keen on using lubricant, i suggest the waist joint. it's squeaky stiff on mine.
