The race you all have been waiting for... Dodge SRT Demon vs McLaren 720s in the 1/4 mile drag race. I made the trip to Maple Grove Raceway in PA for StreetSpeed717's youtube callout. It was a long drive but worth it to get a chance at racing against the notorious McLaren 720s. Let me tell you, that McLaren 720s is a serious supercar. No my brother, you need to drive as good as Herman. You can get what you have to run as quick. DM has shown the combo. Since your car isn't as powerful, and if you don't want to mess with the engine, a stall convertor, wheels and tires are bare minimum. Just duplicate DM's combo. You'll be in the 10s with that. Run laps. Morocco and Rt.66 are the home tracks. Since DM has a stock driveline its just making up the power difference. We have E85 local; pulley, tune, headers will get you into the 9s.

@Stealth Customs McClarens have ran 9.79 secs stock @145 mph(that is not slow, in fact 720s trapped higher than the demon in all the runs). If you see 717s video you start seeing the 720 reel demonology in during last part of the quarter(1.6 60ft doesnt help). I predicted that the 60ft is where the race would be determined. Street tires vs slicks i gave the edge to demonology from get go. Because of the setup he decided to run with. Now im really curious how the McClaren would fair with drag radials. Brookes im sure is already testing tires because he needs to be close to demonology in the 1/8th even if he is slightly behind he can close the gap and pass the demon by the time they are 3/4 of the way through. Demonology knows this and is alot smarter than the average racer which is why he wants brooke. Demonology strikes me as someone who likes a real challenge. He wont settle for 2nd best.
