And your love of it reminds me of my recently developed love for Mashle. A series that's flawed and shonen-trope heavy but still has heart and passion that makes it personal 9/10 for me. Thanks for this. Definitely one of the best series, that you absolutely never want anyone to walk in on. Solid over all, some great comedy, though a couple of the fights wiffed and personally, mostly because it was dropped, the unresolved mystery of the unexplained OP side character became more and more niggling(; the sister could just have gag strength, but Furuichi was foreshadowed so hard: he's the only human who can somehow sense demonic aura; he's recognised by the pillar head; he can match Olga, with no training, after Olga risked his like to gain powers that could kill him if he loses focus; he's the only person who can break the contract rules; he has bone white hair ... no explanation).

yeah thats just our culture here, where horror movies for example can be rated 12-18 depending on how old are the movies lol and not based on the concept or the depth of said movie, because the motto here, if its not graphic its okay 🤣, thus mirroring the thoughts of the public that "outside" is more important than the "inside". So in long term im not even surprised there are more depressed people than before. Most people just got the shallow "How are you?- Im fine" kind of interactions daily... And this is just a small sample... Anyway sorry for the long message 😅

I remember Beelzebub. I found out about it on youtube on my Ps3 and I would watch 3 episodes a day. i swear it was hype as heck back then to see it like that. I didn't read it until many years later, but I would never really say it was a waste of time or potential. Yeah sure I have questions of my own that I want to know about like, What Beelebub's dad looks like, his brothers's past, and even his dad's past as well. But even if I wasn't given everything i enjoyed the ride for what it was and did find a lot of the jokes funny. Not all but a lot, and those laughs, and memories I would never trade for the world.

I'm real glad you decided to cover this one. I've known about it for a couple years now so I was at least aware of it. But I'm literally in the middle of close to 20 different series of manga so my reading free time is pretty limited. This Furuichi page 42:59 made me tear up, was my phone paper for a long time. Love Beelzebub, thankful to read it while it was ongoing with the clean mangastream translations. The slice of life comedy were my preferred part than the action. To me, this manga is peak. (And lol, I remember all the discussion regarding the mystery about Natsume).

Beelzebub is my definetive answer everytime someone asks me about "my favorite shonen series". It's because its better than One Piece, Bleach, Naruto, Jujutsu Kaisen or any other major shonen title? Not even close. It's just hard to explain, but Beelzebub has a charm unlike other series. Oga growing to be up to a genuine father at the end, the fights, the comedic timing and on top of all that on a delinquent manga (kind off)? Hell, it was definetly a shame that the end come so abrupt. I still on this day can't forgive shonen for that.

Great video as always! I really like seeing people showing appreciation to some rather unknown Shonen Jump manga and I hope you'll do something like this in the future as well. And I'm curious, will you ever do videos on the manga series by Hiro Mashima(by that I mean Rave Master, Fairy Tail and Edens Zero)? As those series despite being popular are hated on by the internet for no good reason and like Beelzebub, these series had people complain that they fell off, got rushed, incosistent with the tone or had a bad ending(which I found to be good enough endings to satisfy me for reading the series up to that point) while his most recent manga, Edens Zero had people come with some dumb rumor that it got cancelled then the ending got rushed similarly to what people say about Beelzebub. I would really like to see you cover those in a future videos similar to the ones you did to other manga. Anyways, really enjoy your videos and through this video I learned that Beelzebub, Hungry Marie and Hard Boiled Cop & Dolphin share the same author.

I'm personally disappointed and upset because the original Beelzebub manga currently not get officially got licensed in English in the US. American publishers, such as Viz Media, would still understandably take issue with Beel's naked cute private parts.
