He also considers himself to be a prophet, I have no opinion on that since I have never met or heard from a profit in my life and I do consider anyone's claim to be a prophet to be a bit strange but how would I know? That is another question. Are there prophets? Will they be heard from in the present and or future or are they all in the past? Is there evidence one way or the other? In regards to judging others, recovering from ruminating thru narcissistic abuse, my final stage of letting go is stop cursing the abuser by saying instead, "I hope (insert name) finds God, and is able to save their soul." I feel at peace everytime I feel that for them. I think in a spiritual war, we can use as many souls of the side of good, but ultimately it's their choice.

Fwiw Darwin’s black box is good book discusses “irreducible complexity “ as challenging macro evolution. Ie the eye is too complicated to evolve. Very compelling. Not about 7 day vs ages but powerful perspective to support God creating final form of creatures. Blessings

I've been sedevacantist for two years, and was baptized into the CMRI. however, due to all the confusion and fighting in the Catholic church right now, both between the liberal novus ordites and the trad Catholics, I decided to renounce my faith in Catholicism yesterday. I'm STILL A VERY DEVOTED CHRISTIAN HOWEVER, and I'm very much sold on Orthodoxy instead of protestantism and Catholicism. Orthodoxy is the only Church I've noticed that's even remotely consistent liturgically, and traditionally. So therefore I REALLY want to convert to The Orthodox Faith I don't know where to start though. Can someone PLEASE give me guidance on how to do this? May Jay, or someone else can respond to my comment and give me steps? I pray to Jesus and Mary that this will be divinely arranged. God bless you, in Jesus and Mary!

E. Nickelsburg and James C. VanderKam (published by Fortress Press) is well worth it. Absolutely the best translation of 1 Enoch. If you're the kind that likes to sink your teeth into scholarship and can afford the price, I also recommend the earlier two larger volumes (the translation with critical commentary) by the same guys and publisher, from which the shorter volume (just the translation mentioned above, a "reader's edition" of sorts) is drawn.

I had a conversation with a Boomer in which he told me that his life was much harder for his generation because of the constant threat of nuclear war in 70’s and 80’s UK. I suggested that there was several things coming down the pipes for my generation like Klaus’ big plans, total surveillance, social credit systems, that would make life a purgatory. He told me that his generation was still worse off having not been killed off by a nuclear war that never happened….I even pointed out that they survived, but no, he just wouldn’t have it. Impossible.

I find this fascinating. The causal agents are immaterial. It reminds me of Lawrence M. Krauss talking about how the Universe came from nothing. [It does not exist in space; it has no physical dimensions. And so it cannot be located, and it has no “place” which can be “reached” by travel within the galaxies of the spatial, locatable “places” of the physically created universe.] I think even an atheist physicist can learn something from contemplating angels. As I say, I am interested in a certain degree of compatibilism because the church now exists in a very different age. It's evident to me that immaterial angels speak physics, but I don't know why.
