Today I want to discuss the dark truths around the notions of delusion and self-deception. How is it possible to deceive ourselves? Do demons play a role in this process? What about drugz and the use of hallucinog3ns to achieve access to other realms, dimensions and illumination? Is there a progress into a demonic inversion of theosis where we become more and more evil? Do the demons empower those who align with them? This is the free half of a talk and the full can be obtained by subscribing to JaysAnalysis below:

Generally I've found it a good idea to read what the Saints have said concerning prelest (spiritual deception, often self-deception) from time to time. Spiritual deception is man’s assimilation of a falsehood which he accepts as truth. "Spiritual deception is the state of all men without exception, and it has been made possible by the fall of our original parents. All of us are subject to spiritual deception. Awareness of this fact is the greatest protection against it. Likewise, the greatest spiritual deception of all is to consider oneself free from it. We are all deceived, all deluded; we all find ourselves in a condition of falsehood; we all need to be liberated by the Truth. The Truth is our Lord Jesus Christ (Jn. 8:32-14:6)" - St. Ignatius Brianchaninov

The demonic art portion is most revealing. I'm a big advocate of artistic endeavors as a way to better understand yourself. Have many talented artists in my family, and it's fascinating to see what they produce in different seasons of their lives.

Many artists really get into the whole thing as using themselves as a vessel for whatever they are perceiving under the influence of powerful mind altering substances. Some of it can be very disturbing, some very beautiful. Very interesting none the less. I do think there is some truth lying in all of it if you try to breakdown and analyze why it's created and where that all comes from

@@mandatorymyocarditis "You are what you eat.. or smoke." A lot of great work has been produced under the influence, but going overboard with that stuff can do real harm. Would imagine there's quite a few schizophrenics among the creepy art community as well. Have a friend diagnosed with it who see some rather dark things in everyday life... AND he draws it. Says he sees like an aura of spiders and centipedes coming out of the worst types of people, and on the other hand sees trustworthy people have metallic lusters. He doesn't do psychedelics either.

Whatever happened to beauty. Beautiful nature people and animal. Even beautiful patterns if abstract. A teacher I once had was discussing the change from beauty to ugliness. He said " If somebody comes to my house,I show them the most beautiful things in my home, trying to make things nice for the guest. I don't go to show him the garbage" there is something to it.

I used to be a psychedelic performance artist at music festivals, often "staying in character" (possession) all weekend. My work was entirely occult. I can personally attest and confirm through direct experience, that what you are saying about demonic influence is correct. Have been thinking of speaking on this, but still gathering my thoughts, and learning what Scripture says ... I am now in Christ, and devoted to Yah, but just wanted to share support about your claims.

Oh yeah, this stream spoke to me hardcore. About 1.5 years back, I had a series of revelations of demonic influence in the noetic realm of creativity. It's my belief that this is why art can be so prophetic: it primarily issues from the noetic realm. Art uncovers the spiritual reality beneath our pretensions. Good examples are "Demon Cleaner" by Kyuss and "Lullaby" by The Cure.

@OrthodoxyChloroQuine I've taken many drugs, I know what it's like, but I still don't want to create bland art, I try to tap into the higher realms of consciousness and try to spread a positive message, in one way or another if it can benefit our human struggle. But I see a lot of this crap that is just meant to demean us and enslave us and it's just postmodernist garbage which is meant to demoralize and degredate us, it's intended to destroy our traditions and a lot of it is just Marxist crap. Postmodern art tends to fuel communism
@HellenicLegend7
@HellenicLegend7 2 жыл бұрын
@OrthodoxyChloroQuine Indeed, that’s why the saints say that we shouldn’t accept images in our mind when we pray (especially the Jesus prayer). Fantasy is a creation of the fallen human nature (and demonic nature), that’s why Christ’s human nature has all the properties of the noetic faculty except fantasy.

2:43:03 in 1976, Alex Gray did a performance art piece called “necrophilia,” photographed by his wife. He wrote a letter about it to WET magazine stating that after he did the piece, he was “less afraid of death but more afraid of the karmic consequences of my actions.” He also did an interview with Luke Rudkowski where he fumbled over a really easy question about satanism and a pendant he wears, and had to be rescued by his wife-very funny to watch. Not quite as funny knowing he banged a corpse.

Damn, by your standards i would be possessed by 5 demons and 3 devils hahah. What i think you should maybe split into different groups is, ones, like me, are designing things for games, demons as enemies(like the Keith Thompson guy from your vid, he's a concept artist) which you should slay, and there are those modern art guys who are doing it as a choice, like it's coming naturally from them. A girl i was friend with, also artist, had a sleep paralysis and there she saw a black figure, her art was also pretty chaotic, but abstract.

Gosh I wish someone would address the phenomenon of Co-abusers. Like…..we assume that artists who draw torture scenes were direct victims of abuse. But abusive circles are dependent upon gangs. The leader will get a group (in families it will be most of the children)….to assist them as they go after the target. Part of abuse involves isolation. So there will be a single target. One victim. Other cult members will be invited to join the leader and help the leader gang up on and abuse the target. Anders-n Coop-r for example is always being described as a victim of abuse based on the discoveries about his mother. I’d argue that he most likely helped the mother abuse his younger sibling. Isn’t his younger brother dead? In these powerful families there is so often a super star child and a dead child. I don’t believe these super star children were victims of the abusive cult families. I believe they were raised as co-abusers. I think that’s where the sadistic fantasies come from
