This guy with a hiace pulled into the local walmart one day I was boondockin if you must know. I said to myself wtf is that thing?!? I heard the engine and was like this guy needs a tune up. I later found out it's a 4.0 diesel engine 😍 I immediately fell in love and honestly couldn't believe it existed on commercial scale. I'm saving pennies now to get one.

@ka1133 yes you can import this kind of van but in 2005 model only(kdh200) which is launched in late 2004 which is under 15 year old canadian import rule then inquire or contact the importer like Derek of pacific coast auto(look the KZbin channel)

We have this in South Africa and we use them as taxis. This one looks very modified but nice.

They are used for different purposes in South Africa. The basic entry level version is sold as "Quantum Sesfikile" and is the popular choice among taxi owners. The premium version like in this video is sold as the "Quantum GL" in South Africa and it is the popular choice for airport shuttle transport, private family bus, company staff bus, etc. From the year 2019, these flat nose Hiace taxis are no longer sold as "Quantum". They are now called Hiace like the rest of the world. The name "Quantum" is now reserved for the new model that is now available (the new Hiace that has a long bonnet in front).

To be honest. 90's type was more beautiful than the new types of Hiace. They could keep the same form with just a little changes. Like Land Rover Defender. They don't change the form.
