Explained it better than a doctor of Computer Science with 50 years of teaching experience, and it only took you 18 minutes. Thank you.

@Mark santos Hello friend, are you a first stage in computer science? I study computer science, a first stage, but I am having difficulty in studying. Can we study together?

Thank you so much for this sir. I have an exam in the morning and I've been watching your videos the whole evening. It helped a lot.

At 6:50 of your video, I think you inadvertantly said NOR Gate when you meant to say NAND Gate. But, not a real problem, you did draw an AND gate.

did you draw a NOR gate at 08:33 and you wrote NAND gate, is that ok? I think is wrong, should you have written NOR instead of NAND?

An OR Gate with inverted inputs is equivalent to a NAND Gate

What do you mean by complemented ?? Please help mehh
@tmc2005277 жыл бұрын
If you complement a 0 it becomes a 1 and if you complement a 1 it becomes a 0. The symbol for complementing something in Boolean Algebra is the line over the variable. If you have a line over a variable X you know in boolean algebra X can only be a 1 or a 0 so once you substitute the value into X you would then take the opposite if there is also a line over the variable X indicating the complement . Hope that helps.
@just_A7medd7 жыл бұрын
Ohhh... so basically the "bar" (line) on top of the Variable either X or Y is the "Complement" which is either 1 or 0. Where the variable X (which is 1 or 0) would be the opposite when using Demorgan's Theorem, am I correct?
@tmc2005277 жыл бұрын
Yes, and that bar can extend over multiple variables. The physical device for complementing binary values is an inverter so if you had a circuit of digital gates and at the very end there was a single inverter at the output the algebraic formula representing the circuitry before the inverter would have a line over it and that line would represent the inverter at the end. So whatever digital value the circuitry returned before the inverter would then be complemented or inverted as indicated by the line over the equation.

@manavshah68119 жыл бұрын
what is complimented?
@tmc2005279 жыл бұрын
+Manav Shah In this case it's the bar or line over the variable that indicates the boolean not operation. The complement is the inverse of the variable. In boolean algebra the variable can only be a 1 or a 0 so if A=1 the complement of A would be 0
@conman23179 жыл бұрын
