hey bro, you captured my everyday! No matter the struggle, I always find a way! And ive never, will ever take a government hand out! The struggle is real, but my strength is that much more stronger! And when i look at my family, every drop of blood, sweat and tear is worth it! To give my family a future so that they dont have to break their backs. Ill dirty my hands to keep their clean. And ill tell you that i am a very rich man, not with money. But will the pride and will to give my family the best. And when it seems that things are too much. I sit outside, and just let the sounds distract me. And ill never let my family see the pain. Physically or mentally. I grit my teeth, and push through.

This song has gotten me through so many tough times... Thank you Demun. I’m a single mom that chose to leave my desk job and start a cleaning service on my own. I have calloused hands and sometimes I don’t feel like a woman. The pride I feel in finally building something of my own far outweighs the bad knowing I am going to make enough support my children on my own and give them the lifestyle they deserve without taking away from them at their fathers house. I’m going to give them a female role model they can aspire to be and marry some day. When I feel like I can’t go anymore I sit in my own backyard and/or turn this song on as a reminder that hard work is the answer to my prayers. The success that is starting to come with it is my own personal backyard lullaby ❤️

Nothing but love and respect from me but take the time off when possible. I've burnt myself out working countless hours overtime to just miss out on my kids lives when they needed me. There's a lot of moments I should have cherished but instead spent either working or stressing about providing. Don't let money or bills get in the way off spending time with your kids. Keep up the good job momma hard work ethic is nothing to frown apon and you got nothing but love and respect from someone who has missed a lot of memories I could have made with my kids while I was working

I think I heard this song for the first time in late 2018 early 2019. I was at my absolute lowest during that time. Every single day was a brutal struggle with the only thing keeping me going being the hatred and spite for the world. Roughly 3 years later this song brings me so much inner peace and gratitude that I hung on for even a minute longer than I wanted too. While it definitely hasn't been an easy ride, letting go of the things that haunted me has allowed it to go so much smoother. I'm far from perfect and I never will be. I have the name of an angel but a wing in the fires of hell. But through the most unexpected places the Lord can work in mysterious and powerful ways. Thank you, most of all sir. For giving me the ounce of compassion and peace I needed to give my life another chance. Thank you for saving me.

This song will never get old. I have loved it from the first time I heard it. I would much rather be back in the country listening to the crickets chirp and see the stars at night than live in the city where there are sirens all hours of the day and night. Praying I get my piece of property back in the country where I feel at home.

Great song Demun. Hits home. Greatest pride I've had is providing for and watching my daughter grow. Seems like I'm busting my ass more and more but I'm damn happy and wouldn't trade it for anything. To all the hard working parents out there, if your doing everything you can for you family just keep your head up and keep pushing.

These long hitches on the road make me miss my youngins more and more, but by blood sweat and tears I’ll make the life I never had for my son and my daughter. It’s all worth it when this ol dodge pulls in the driveway and my wife and children come runnin, to all the blue collar boys pullin 70+ hours a week I’m gon drink these next few beers for y’all 💯💯💯💯

@DemunJonesMusic your song speaks hard truth brother, 21 year old livin a life of heavy and hard times everyday, when I have the unspeakable troublesome. Thoughts and moments I decide to let the wind and crickets lead my path and I listen to this song to come back to reality. But when I feel like I'm losing it all, even being a father to two kids and a wife, this song and her wholesome love and caring heart keeps me fighting everyday to not give up and to keep going to provide for what's mine to keep busting my ass every day and night no matter the cause. I love your music deeply. This song needs to be played on the radio because I'm sure there's not just me but many people out there who need a song like this to know to keep going there's still a reason to keep going in life!! Keep up the music brother !!

This song (and you) just came to my attention courtesy a reactor named D. Lynn. A patron of hers asked her to react to it. She differs from many reactors in that she gives the history of the artist or song where appropriate in addition to her reactions so you can get a feel for an artist or a song. I listened all the way through to ensure I could have an informed opinion. You're good, I mean really good. The mix on this song showed that the best genre of music is "good". Music is in the ears that hear, the heart, mind, and soul that feels and "good" music connects at those levels. Music transcends any of the surface many only see and can make you listen to uncomfortable facts and other inconveniences. The financial reality most live with, the stress it causes and how we all cope is great subject matter. You and Noah did a great job here. Know I'm late to the party but hearing the song and getting some background through D. Lynn encouraged me to come and start exploring more of your talent and to comment.

Thank you Robert. I’m glad you found it and I’m glad it speaks to you. I truly hope you dig in and find some others, there’s a lot here on the channel. My “Official Music Videos” Playlist has them all and they’re all unique from one another. IMO
