This is a really important topic that not a lot of people talk about enough. When you break it down like this we are kind of forced in to giving up our personal information in order to access things that connect us to each other. It shouldn't have to be that way.
@pascaldegarde67563 жыл бұрын
This certainly is demystifying! I don't think there's a lot of transparency or even understanding about what those companies do with our data. This is a really good video for outlining why it's important to take back that information and control.

I feel like the internet kind of evolved more quickly than people were able to keep up with, and that created the opportunity for individuals who had a better grasp of it to benefit greatly. This kind of seems like the backlash to that and it'd be really awesome if it properly came to fruition.

I was working in an IT company, and I remember what hype blockchain created. Once I decided to talk to our security specialist to find out more about it. I was wondering if this blockchain is really secured. And he said that it was just a trend. But after 4 or 5 years I see it's still popular, so maybe it wasn't just hype.

Shifts in compute, from mainframe to client server to cloud computing, always take longer than people expect up front. But they are powerful shifts, and I believe DLT growth will be exponential, because the network effects are so strong. Thanks for watching.
