Thanks for this series, Pan. I just received a Mustang Mach-E via transporter. Pan, I bought a bundle of microfiber towels at a local auto parts store and I'm wondering why when I'm drying or buffing they seem to "stick" to the surface I'm working on, whether it be paint or glass? Is it the quality of the towels? Am I using the wrong side? Thoughts? Thank you for any light you could shed.
@PanTheOrganizer2 жыл бұрын
By nature microfiber towels feel "grabby" because of the electrostatic charge they generate. It's all those loops that are close together that help to do the job of picking up dirt effectively. Friction of those fibers leads to that static cling. So nothing seems weird in your case, unless it's something else. Always wash your towel before first use, following my directions in my microfiber towels washing tutorial: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qpDVqpl9odB4b6s

I just placed an order with The Rag Company Sunday and this came out today. I Walsh I had waited one more day, but no worries. I have to place another order with them. This was very good information and I look forward to seeing part 2. The recommendations on what type microfiber to use for the different parts of a vehicle is very helpful. The Rag Company does that on their website but this info will help to more define the differences within each type. Thank you again for all you do.

This is a great series, I purchased quite a few microfiber towels when we got a new car. At the time, I didn't know how to decode them, and didn't know which towel is best for which job. This really helps with both, thank you! Fortunately, I managed to end up with a good balance of weaves and blends that is working out great. Now I am able to sort them according to their specific job. Very helpful, please give Levi a big thanks as well. I know this video is now 5 or so years old, but the information still applies and will help as I replenish my stock. 👍

@@PanTheOrganizer My car is having watermarks and it's getting bad. I wanted to do some diy to fix the issue to save some cost, did some random KZbin searches, and I saw a couple of your videos appearing. It’s not because we both visited TRC headquarters that it means we compete. The cool thing about the big detailing channels on KZbin is that we can all coexist and even help each other out. Heck even Larry from Ammo Nyc guest appeared in two of my videos and was happy to do so.
