It came out when I was 17, in the North we had boring Coronation St, six weeks of episodes about pensioners moaning about a cat going missing. Eastenders was far more daring, edgier and better to watch.

+Rory Mckernan most of the 1985 episodes are on here, When Nick was robbing Ethel he said "keep your mouth shut, old reg didnt make any noise.....not at first" Nick was later arrested in mid 1985 for Reg's murder and released due to lack of evidence, Everyone knew Nick done it from the start, Den only wanted detail of what happened whilst in prison:)

+Derek Anderson oh ok thankyou. Den and Nick scenes were always good, the Dickens Hill scenes were brilliant. There is some of the prison scenes on here and Nick giving Den the detail by detail account of Regs murder. Nick and Den's relationship was up and down really, i think in a weird way Den felt like he was Nick's dad and Nick respected and feared him to argue back.
