Denali Bus Tour to Eielson Village Center. Best of Alaska in 10 days

I'm excited to finally visit Denali National Park! We'll be driving from Fairbanks to Denali and the drive itself is about 2 hours, but in order to get the full experience, I would highly recommend taking saving at least 2.5 - 3 hours for the drive.

The drive from Fairbanks to Denali was truly spectacular. Their will be plenty of stops you'll want to take along the way.
If you have reservations for the Denali bus tour and you're driving from Fairbanks, you'll definitely want that extra time to really enjoy some of the stops while driving towards Denali national Park.

Denali National Park
The Highlight of Alaska! In order to truly experience Alaska and its wonders, you MUST visit the beautiful and gorgeous Denali National Park.
To get to the interior side of Denali National Park, you have to take the bus tour. Their are various options as to which bus tours are provided, but the standard bus tour (ride only) costs about $60 per person.

Camping at Denali National Park
Depending on how many days/ nights you plan on staying in Denali, I would highly recommend the camping experience. Their are various tent sites and campgrounds sites located in Denali National Park.
A couple of things to note: They have options for you to camp WITHIN Denali itself, but you must be aware of proper survival mechanics as their are bears and other wild-life that are known in the greater parts of Denali.

Staying at the Grand Denali Lodge
If you choose not to spend the night camping at one of the campgrounds in Denali, their are hotel options for you to choose from.

I heard some roads are closed because of the road slide since last week. Will the bus tour be shorten because of that?

Honestly I'm not too sure The road conditions are always changing. I would highly recommend looking under website cuz they update that frequently

We brought our own tents. I have a 2 person light weight tent from REI so it didn't take up too much space in my carryon backpack

@@virgo714 i would say it's the cheaper option otherwise there are hotels in the area but can be a little pricey
