Exploring Talkeetna Birch Syrup Tasting Anchorage. Best of Alaska in 10 days Day 4

Let's spend the morning and afternoon exploring Talkeetna Alaska! Talkeetna is a small little community just south of Denali and North of Anchorage ~2 hours away in distance.
Instead of making our way down all the way towards Anchorage from Denali we wanted to spend some time in Talkeetna primarily to check out the popular attraction Birch Syrup tasting.

Talkeetna has an outstanding panoramic view of the Alaska Range that can be photographed from several locations as you wander through our town.
Other activities that you can do while staying in Talkeetna include fishing, riverboat tours, hiking trails, mountain climbing, ATV tours, and zipline tours.
Make sure to also check out some of the local art galleries and gift shops!

Denali Brewing
After spending a few hours in Talkeetna we wanted to start making our way down towards Anchorage. On our way there, we decided to check out the Denali Brewing company to do some awesome beer / cider tasting!

Birch Syrup Tasting
The highlight of why we ended up wanting to stay in Talkeetna. Initially thought it was a maple syrup tasting but turns out Birch syrup tasting is a real thing!

Dinner at Moose Tooth Pub and Pizzeria
After arriving in Anchorage, we wanted to find a nice good place to have dinner. We were recommended by some of the locals to check out Moose Tooth Pub and Pizzeria. They are known for their awesome unique recipes of various pizzas.

Maple syrup is definitely tastier than Birch syrup. Not a fan of the sourness of Birch
