Carter Chronicles, super job with this video, as is anything having to do with AK. May I point out 2 years after the fact that the language from which the name Denali originates is Koyukon (COY-uh-con), which is the Athabascan language family, as English is in the Germanic family. Other languages in that family are Navajo and Apache. However, there's a boat load of other tribes in Canada from this family. Back in '84 on my solo drive to AK, I got on the bus next in line, which was fine. However, at Eielson a tire blew, and the tiny lady driver couldn't get the tire off, so we waited several hours for a replacement bus, which means we didn't get to go the last 17 miles. However, we still saw a lot of wildlife. I was one of the fortunate few who got to see the mtn. clearly.

Thank you so much! I just wish we had known back in 2018, that we would be making a youtube video one day. There is so much we would have done differently, but oh, well... just an excuse to go back, right? 😊

Thank you! We were at Denali mid June of 2018. We never dreamed we would ever make a video to share on KZbin back then. So we only had our phones and a cheap point & shoot camera to use, and no stabilizing equipment which is evident by being very excited around the wildlife. But we have been having fun piecing together the memories of our trips to Alaska, and sharing them. Glad you are enjoying them! 😊

Too bad that the road is now closed at mile 42 (I think) because of landslides and road repairs. I would have loved to travel to the end of the road. Thanks for sharing.

That is too bad. We’ve heard rumors that they may not be able to re-open the road because of the permafrost ground being too unstable. 😕
