Denali Star from 1985. EMD F7, 1500 Seires & Märklin HO scale model.

Finally, after 39 years, I created a facsimile of the Alaska Railroad's 1985 Denali Star being pulled by 1500 Series EMD F7s. The HO scale model consist was created using Märklin model trains, locomotive set 3462, and tin plate passenger cars. The train photos in the Nenana River canyon were taken before the ARR removed the tunnel. It was an amazing, fun trip.
