I remember every day the weather chalk board seem to say huge winds and storms but we'd wake up to another beautiful day. Not sure if it's really difficult to forecast the weather up there or they just kind of hope everyone stays in the tent.

Nice video and I’m sure you’ll both cherish the memories of what look like a great trip. I’m impressed with your photographs and wondered which camera you used on the trip?

Thanks for the comment! I was using a Sony RX-100 for this trip. Most of the photography on this video was from this great little camera.

Congrats on the climb and great video bud! My buddy and I are looking to climb Denali in 2019 or 2020. Any tips/advice for climbing the West Buttress route? How heavy were your packs and sleds?

Thanks for the comment! There's a lot to say about climbing Denali/West Butt route...the key is just trying to give yourself enough time up there to acclimatize, establish a high camp, and hope for a weather window. We summitted on our 11th day on the mountain...pretty fast all things considered, but we had the weather for it. Most people shoot for 20 days in the AK range. For our two-man team, we were carrying around 100 lbs each, 40ish in the pack and 60ish in the sled. We only had time to be on Denali for two weeks though...
