I have always been a fan of her voice and music, however what i equally enjoyed about this video was the wholesome and simply beautiful look she portrayed. No excessive and over the top make-up and not exposing her body. In doing so she displayed a beauty that is not often seen today, as well as one that compliments the simple beauty of her music.

Deniece Williams is in my opinion the best singer of her generation and in my top five starting lineup of best female singers of the 20th century. 21st century divas should thank God she’s not coming as hard now as she did in the 70s and 80s. If she did, most of today’s vocal VIPs would still be waiting at the bar for a table, let alone receiving the display table treatment they’re now getting.

What a phenomenal superb Denice Williams concert; she looks and sounds splendid as she is fine 🍷 wine. Her vocal range, RIFFS, and capacity to sustain those high notes shows her vocal prowess. Her showmanship is awesome. However- I can surmise that this got to be late 90s' or early 2000 because I do not see any 📱 smartphones taking photos every minute of the concert. Yet- I seen an engaged audience assiduously enjoying themselves as they were fully present to experience this incredible song bird: Ms. D. Williams. Lastly- I was astonished that her audience was predominantly Latinos. I did not know she had a vast Latino demographic.

I've loved this song since I first heard it in 1981. I have tears in my eyes every time Niecy sings this song. I love her! I’m so happy for her that she lost the weight. Last time I saw her a few years ago she had gained so much that she was short of breath all the time and struggled to sing the songs. The audience cheered her on anyway because she’s Niecy, but I think we were all concerned about her health. She sings it all the time…God is truly amazing, and he keeps blessing her.
