Do I even need to say anything? This woman is a vocal beast. Her technique is nearly flawless, through every register: Resonant, evenly-mixed belts and connected head voice. And her staccato! She executes those so effortlessly!
The only thing I don't like is that her vibrato sometimes gets a bit shaky. But that's not really a big deal to me.
Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy this video. I've been "stalking" through her discography and performances for awhile and I'm kinda satisfied with the results. I just hope I don't miss any good note, especially in the upper head register, because I know she can hit better notes than those used in this video. I just can't find any...
Also, what do you think of my channel's new design and intro/outro? This intro thingy is getting so trendy recently so I wanna do one for my own lol!

@@resurgingflame, in her prime, she was a beast. She sang back up for Minnie. Her style and voice was very distinguished. She is still singing at 67 years old. Very few sopranos are able to hit the notes she hits at that age. Vocal coaches are wondering how she is still able to hit those high notes with such power. She deserves far more credit that she is given. She has made her mark in history. Find me someone who can sing her songs equal or better? Especially at her age.

I find Deniece's voice is interesting , unique, beautiful and enjoyable if you look at the true full scope of her voice and what she does with it, and you can see where the different techniques she uses come from in light of the different "instruments" she has within her voice (this is why she easily rose to popularity and has been successful). But if you just isolate and look at her high passages and fluttery mixed voice runs alone (which is one of her "instruments", then it can get a bit annoying. Watch a full performance and you will see it is not bad, you actually get to enjoy the uniqueness & sincerity of her singing. Anyway you're not crazy lol
