Nice inside look! When George W was president they used to land Air Force one at the old James Connally Air Force base in Waco, Texas and travel to his Crawford ranch by helicopter. There were usually four-five copters. My little boy loved to go out and wave at them as they flew over our land. My son passed away October 23rd, 2022 at the age of 21. He was our only child.💔😔🥺😢 Your video brought back a great memory of my son when he was just a little boy. Thank you!💜

Hi from Cape Coral FL. I didn't realize when the helicopter touched down on the White House grounds that the wheels were on what looks like concrete pads. The pilot sure has to be good. Wow! In 1967, I spent 10 weeks at USMC OCS area. We had to pass the heliport for Marine One. The aircraft were stored there. Our Sgt Instructor was detached from that unit to supervise us that summer. He hated being pulled from his usual assignment

You know... something I never considered. The fact that they have a vending machine for the press is actually sad. You would think that basic refreshments would be standard fare when you invite people to a press conference. It basic courtesy and good hospitality. TY for the vids as always!

There's just no room in there and most of the reporters walk outside and get something from the restaurants nearby. The big networks actually cater each day and send in these big bags from fancy restaurants.

Varies. Usually the decoys hang out or land at Anacostia NAS just across the river from the US Capitol, but sometimes they fly over the WH with Marine One. Today we just had one decoy on the departure and none on the return.

I like the view in the work areas, always surprised how limited, dark, and cramp the office areas are. I work for a company much poorer than the US government and my office is bigger😜But my assumption is the office areas are designed small and cramped on purpose, to make the government appear as humble, non wasting and simple. The whitehouse workplace physical environment does not appear glamorous at all. I've worked in office buildings that were pretty fancy and accommodating with amenities etc. Large common areas, great food options. And media guests at the white house just get a vending machine of toxic snacks??😮

CAT. Counter Assault Team. Basically the SWAT team of the White House. They are on hand in the Palm Room whenever the helicopter lands, in case someone jumps the fence or something. There are also snipers on the roof of the White House and the roof of the Commerce Department over looking the final approach.
