Leather Jacket for sure. Leather is sturdy, eternal, breathable, keeps you warm yet not sweaty, it's just a little bit heavy and overkill for the city. The denim jacket is useless for 90% of guys IMO. It's heavy and bulky, won't keep you warm, just protect you from the wind at best (and not very good at that either). It will protect your clothes from damage mainly but very few people actually need that kind of protection in something that's not work clothing anymore (modern technical/work garments replaced denim with modern fabrics decades ago).

My father has four leather jackets. One of them is the most awesome. A black one with an aggressive look that he owns for 40 years. This thing can withstand anything and that's well proven because my dad was a merchant marine engineer. He now uses it when it's cold and he wants to fix something outside the house but he still also uses it as a casual jacket over a shirt. Yes it was expensive but 40 years No maintenance Still looks good That why I love leather jackets. Though you have to find the one...

Antonio, I like your comparison video between leather vs denim, sometimes it could be hard to choose a clear winner, but what is clear in this video, is that your leather jacket is pulling at your upper waist/chest area making it small on you...as fit is King, size up in this case. As for your paid sponsor, well this is one of the few fashion watch brands that actually look good, the watches have no homological heritage of course but what they do have is a nice look, so for someone going for something different and not wanting to spend thousands on a classic Omega, Breitling or Rolex (top market brands) or for someone not wanting to dive into the micro brand world of watches, Original Grain is a nice option for them. In my opinion the leather jacket should have won price because of its victory on durability. If it will last longer then its price per wear will go down just like you say when buying nice shoes. Buy something you love and will wear often rather than something cheap you only wear a few times.

I personally have 2 denim jackets dark wash and very light wash. I will probably buy a couple more denim jackets but I will try to buy a leather jacket for the first time. I do have bomber jackets but might buy a couple more. I'm 6'4 1/2 so I do need some more clothing.

The ALTERRA CHRONO 44MM AVIATOR is so cool! I would definitely pair that with my dark brown leather jacket. That combo would look very masculine and slick. I already get a lot of compliments from my jacket, I think a watch like that would take me to the next level! But I do wear a denim jacket from time to time, just less often. So with my dark denim jacket with a brass colored stitching, I would put a ALTERRA CHRONO 44MM REDLINE on my wrist. I feel like the redish color with the wood grain would PERFECTLY contast with the blue denim. The textures and the hues would truly make it work on all levels! I think these are some of the best watches I've ever seen in my life😊

Leather has to take the cake for me. The Aviator watch would look amazing with it. I rock my leather jacket with jeans and it looks amazing. You and Mario have mentioned women love feeling different textures, with the jeans I already have denim taken care of. You can't really wear anything leather (besides shoes of course or if you're getting kinky) except for the leather jacket.

I’m a old school leather guy. Black, brown, camel.... I’ve had em all. I think the Whiskey would look sweet with any color leather and that NY Yankees (blue *IS* the best color) would be smashing with a denim jacket.

I've worn leather and Denim. I've worked in both in the outdoors and in office settings. I can honestly say that leather has seen more of this use and abuse and has been my preferred pick. It is able to match most of my clothing. And the watches that you mention are amazing. I haven't been able to own one but i see people who have these and they are a great conversation starter and a fantastic looker. The Aviator style works really well with the leather jacket of any kind. The Marc is one that I honestly would die to have. It could break up some of the solid color of the leather jacket and bring out some of the other colors in my wardrobe. The Marc is truly my favorite and one that can go great with leather.

I have and use both. Denim Sherpa made by mountain khakis in Jackson hole Wyoming. And three leather jackets WWII leather bomber. (late grandfathers) Faux leather fashion jacket And a leather trench coat (late grandfathers) The great thing about leather coats is the ability to last forever. Mine are 72 years old, 45 years old, and 3 years old.

I own both a denim jacket and a leather jacket, and at the moment, I prefer the leather jacket because: 1. I have more of a history with leather jackets since I loved "Grease" as a 13 year old, I love Marlon Brando as an actor ("The Wild One" isn't my favorite film by him, but I love his style in it), I often put products in my hair, and I have owned a leather jacket since I was 13 (not the same one of course). 2. I've found more fitting occassions to wear a leather jacket since it fits so well in late spring and early autumn and is something unique, while denim jackets to me seem fitting for occassions where I often find better options for outfits. 3. I simply feel more confident and tough when wearing a black leather jacket (or any black jacket). Note that this might change in a few years (or during 2018)

The thing is it's really difficult to choose one coz depending on when r u wearing it.. coz if it's too cold then leather over denim jacket. Otherwise it's best to buy both n enjoy the best of both worlds. These two jackets r amazingly versatile. I would not want to be in a situation to select one out of the two so I own both. I personally wear a Levi’s Sherpa jacket everyday. I wear it everywhere. For work and probably going out I wear blue or black jeans, a Carhartt long leave, a fleece wrangler flannel and the Sherpa jacket! I look great and I’m warm for every situation!

As a Pacific Northwesterner, I love my microbrews. The Brewmaster series is a natural for my style. Stainless steel and oak barrel wood remind me of my own homebrew experiences! It also would go great with the well-fitting brown leather vintage jacket I picked up for a steal because it was missing one of the basketweave leather shank buttons. Thankfully I am already planning on replacing those buttons with oak! I need to find the right denim jacket for me. Antonio, I watch your videos all the time and agree with your analysis most often. I myself lean to the leather. I feel leather has a greater range of times I wear it verus Denim. I have 4 leather jackets 3 in the brown family and two denim jackets. One unlined and one sherpa lined. I typically wear a black watch with silver/white numbering that pairs with most of the darker colored jackets I wear.

I think the Rosewood Classic looks beautiful. I would love to wear it with a black leather jacket, dark blue jeans, and a nice pair of black boots or oxblood double monk straps, since I think the color of the rosewood would compliment the monk straps. I think the Redline Alterra Chrono also looks gorgeous and would fit equally well with the outfit. The black dial of the watch would also compliment the leather jacket, with the red rosewood again complimenting the oxblood double monk strap shoes.

Great video! I have not tried any leather jacket yet, but I would gravitate towards Denim Jacket more as I just feel great with a Denim jacket. Denim jacket makes me look younger and more importantly I think it's more suitable for younger adults as compared to the very 'manly' leather jacket. I think the Redline model in Alterra Chrono 44mm series from Original Grain would look great with a denim jacket, a white t-shirt underneath, a pair of dark colored jeans and a pair of maybe oxblood double monk straps (would match the color of the watch, I guess).

If you get the lining changed to cotton in the leather jacket it is comfortable to wear in the evening to night in warmer climate. Also helps to have a thinner leather on warm climate. I make a lot of body heat but I love leather so I find if the inside is cotton rather than polyester it is damn comfortable

I have both. I have denim, denim with sherpa and denim with flannel. As for leather I have my G1's and urban adventure (Super hero aka... civilian Capt. America) jackets. As for watches I use Luminox Ultimate SEAL Chrono, Black Out SEAL Chrono and Carbon SEAL Chrono. I'm covered.
