I am personally very excited about Dune Messiah but I want it to be on director Denis Villeneuve's own time. I want Deni Villeneuve's next film, whatever it is, to be exactly what he wants.

I think Robert Eggers is someone that’s in this current generation of auteur filmmakers. Also Bong Joon-ho could be in there as well.

I've only seen "The Lighthouse" so far - I hear myself and everyone else is also sleeping on "The Northman". I'll try and catch that soon. I do agree that from what I saw watching "The Lighthouse" he absolutely HAS A VISION. And in my opinion THATS what makes an Auteur. Uncompromising vision.

I'm VERY excited for Dune: Messiah. I just hope Villeneuve doesn't feel pressured to bow to WBs greed and make the movie too soon before he's ready to make it 1000%. Also - thanks for watching one of my first videos. The quality is a step down but the opinions are still mine 😎. Best, -FSD
