Denise Austin workouts really do work. I love her positivity and the workouts are fun.

I'm really surprised at the negative comments. I love this workout - it's fun and it doesn't stress my knee (2 surgeries on the same knee). There's no such thing as "proper" cardio, lol. Cardio is anything that works the cardiovascular system .. so even sex counts. Take your negativity elsewhere.

Denise Austin has always been my favorite fitness expert! She has such a positive attitude, encourages everyone to do their best and motivates everyone to motivate themselves to work out. As a dancer and choreographer, I find that this particular workout really engages muscles and focuses a lot on stretching which is vital for a dancer. I had a lot of fun doing this. Thanks, Denise! :)

I read the comments that say this is stupid, and not enough of a work out. Well for someone just starting out again, completely out of shape, and with a bad back, bad knees, and bad ankle, it felt pretty good to me. Granted I'm so out of shape that I couldn't make it through the entire thing. But I'll keep doing it till I can, and then some more, and then will find other videos to work out with. Don't complain either when it is free!

I know this is an old comment, but this is great for someone just starting out or someone who can't do jumping, etc. It is also great for someone like me who is accustomed to more high impact, on days I need something with no impact.

Haha, say what you will about her voice and the fact that the girls in the back are better dancers, but Denise's workouts are fun and positive and accessible to everyone. There's lotsa older ladies out there who love her workouts because they can keep up and don't have to jump around or do 100's of boring jumping jacks, burpees, or pushups.

Her exercises are good for the older, those who like slower pace exercises and still get results. Those ppl made bad comments don’t have to join her classes. There are plenty out there for those who like more cardio. I love her. She looks great for her age. Keep up the good work and produce more video Denise. Best wishes to you.

Lorie Short personally I think the steps are difficult to follow with no explanations or demonstrations ahead of time. Great if you've been a dancer ot doing this for a while. Frustrating if you're a beginner. I'm not sure why it came up in my soft aerobics feed with jumping. Jumping doesn't work with a torn meniscus.

Loved this workout. Denise is positive and fun. Her energy kept me going thru this routine. I usually don’t have “rhythm” and never did any dance workout; yet she made the steps eas(ier) to follow and the most important thing is I finished and I had fun doing it.

This is a nice workout for beginners. It was fun, but a little on the easy side for someone who has been working out for a while. It is good for people who are really just starting to work out or for a more experienced person who is looking for a lighter workout.

This is really good for recovery the day after an intensive workout. Helps you stretch and heal. Not stressing to your muscles. But still gets your heart rate up!

I am so happy that I happen to luck upon my Favorite Exercise Instructor Denise Austin. I had KNOW idea she was still doing workout DVDs!!OMG!! I now I can get back in shape. I used to workout with all her VHS years ago in the 80s,, She help me to get my shape back after have two children. I am sixty years old, and really to workout to all her new DVDs.. Thank Denise for continually workout and motivation me all my life to stay fit. THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!

I always found her a little cheesy, but her workouts helped me to lose 40 lbs in 3 months, with a sensible diet. This is why I keep coming back to her, when I want to get fit.

Her cardio workouts are perfect, imo, because they don't kill you - coming away out of breath limping or aching - but they give you a good workout for your body and heart and a good, cleansing sweat.

Denise, I've been working out to you for years and while my body disorders have progressed, I manage to work out. My biggest problem, besides trying to learn the dance steps, is that if I try to point my legs in any certain direction, the entire leg spasms and I look like a spider with epilepsy not to mention I often fall on my butt. I tried Zumba but they go way too fast for me, you go at a much better speed.

The negative comments on here are all in reference to Denise Austin's voice...which, incidentally has NOTHING to do with weight loss effectiveness. So, if you want an easy-to-follow, high energy, low-impact routine...this one's for you. It was great! I'm 30 and in pretty good shape, and I was sweating by the end of it. Sometimes the "old school" way is the best way!
