I use liquid coconut oil in my tanks . It's thinner than mineral oil and it is also a clear oil . I like using oil because it won't evaporate and the items move more slowly , for a cooler effect .

This is, by far, the best looking aquarium nail I've ever seen. Most of them look bulky or they aren't as clear. These are great! I especially love the bits and bobs that in the tanks. Unfortunately, some of the other tutorials I've seen can't add certain things to the tanks because now someone "owns" the rights to adding glitter and beads to aquarium nails. Seems a bit... much to me but 🤷🏻‍♀️ Regardless, I do love these nails! This is the first video of yours I've ever watched and I can't wait to check out more!

To answer your previous question / comment ( that you removed ) Thick bulky on top of the nail aquarium nails have been out for a while , yes . Heck , they even sell glue on nail tips that are aquarium nails . I have never , ever , seen any nail tutorial out doing my technique or my up coming other techniques . Whether they know how to do it or not , I don't know . There is a person who works for Brillbird and shows a photo of a similar aquarium nail to my coffin nail . She has no tutorial out , but instead charges for classes to learn it . She is from Eastern Europe . A person will pay a hefty price for those classes . I gave one of my techniques for free . Pretty nice to share , huh ?

A lot of people try to totally get all the air bubbles out, but I always think the opposite.... I believe with an air bubble in there it helps to promote movement.... Other wise, its almost like you have to point out to others that that's what you have going on..... which defeats the purpose.... I mean who wants to look like a goof pointing to everyone to look at their nails? LOL not me! I also think that having an air bubble is reminiscent of a "lava lamp".... in my own opinion of course... I loved how you did this, because there is a nice big space to work with as far as the aquarium part goes. Without looking like a big old thick nail..... GREAT JOB!

I don't think I will ever be able to wear aquarium nails simply because you have to make them so thick in order for them to work well, but this is by far my favorite application and final look of an aquarium nail that I've ever seen 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 well done!

what methods are faster in your opinion? because for me having to glue 2 tips together and filing them etc takes a lot longer, plus they look very bulky on the nail.
