Power explained why Denji swallowed the vomit. Because Denji grew up in destitute poverty anything that made it to the inside of his mouth was something he always ate. So even though Denji as a kid still had standards of not eating vomit, the fact that Himeno’s barf was already in Denji’s mouth caused him to involuntarily automatically swallow. And okay as an FYI for anyone who is genuinely confused/curious, to understand the age of consent in Japan it’s like this (as far as I know): the National Age of Consent is 13 (though there are currently efforts to raise it to 16), but all 47 prefectures of Japan have passed ordinances that make the age of consent 18 (or more specifically ban sexual acts between adults and individuals under the age of 18). So it’s effectively 18 nation-wide. So if Himeno (who’s like at least in her mid 20s if not older) did have sex with Denji, that would be illegal in Japan since every prefecture has those ordinances, and she could be arrested for that. In 2022 the age of adulthood in Japan was lowered from 20 to 18, for things such as being able to make contracts, be selected for jury duty, obtain an individual passport, and vote (though that was already available since 2016), etc. The drinking, smoking, and gambling age in Japan is still 20 though.

12:53 Denji and Pochita actually had 2 contracts both in the first ep, the first was when Denji gave Pochita blood to heal himself in exchange to use Pochita to kill devils and the second was when they both died, Pochita was able to heal from Denji's blood and brought him back to life and became his heart and in exchange Denji has to show Pochita his dreams. Even tho they do have a contract together they love each other very much
