I always felt bad about Adharvam's climax. I wanted Mamooty to win. Felt very bad that a stupid boy and some 2-3 idiotic boys and a nothing girl came and spoiled that great man's vengeance. I also felt that was what kept the movie from becoming a legend. I wanted total destruction and that great tantric to win and destroy this evil place with evil humans. Aaah but what a great movie! I loved that song poovayi virinju! The pain, the insult and finally, due to all these, subsequently the vengeance . The songs, background music etc was so good that you can close your eyes and feel what mamooty was going through. And yet!, it didnt happen. Felt disappointed. Listen to the lines in that song poovayi virinju. Stunning meaning and pain in the music, in each line.Every nook n corner of that song conveyed pain and every inch of that song felt touching! There was one line 'kanavukalil ninavukali eriyum oru dhaaham'. Wow! just wow. After all that pain, struggle, working hard, unbelievable genius talent etc, He had to win in the end. Feeling sad even now. Enaal onnu parayatte! After almost 20 years, I saw what would happen if Mamooty had won! Sometimes I felt after almost 20 years from the movie's release, that great powerful Mamooty's campaign/prayers/japam won!.,the floods this year!.. maybe his spirit kept fighting to destroy us. (ith thikachum just for a movie based feel, nothing to do with reality). That vengeance finally succeeded in kerala. In 2018! And I wish i had never even thought such things back then, like thinking mamooty shud win and all. Horrible for thousands of people. (like i said, just as a story, it feels scary). Our floods!
