As the guys from refused often say, they are very unsure about what their actual position is. Capitalism and especially the free market are probably the greatest achievements humanity has ever brought forth. Listening to refused their material it is quite obvious to me that these anarchist, only by name btw, their critique isn't necessarily about capitalism as a whole, but rather a critique on when it is brought to its extremes. Consumerists continuesly weakend and dumbed down and ailed and alienated. And they are also voicing their discontent about the corruptability of mega corps and institutions. But it's really nothing that isn't solvable over time. They're basically saying to conduct yourself responsible, introduce some level of accountability, and be mindful of giving into levels of greed and lust that transcend your necessities for a comfortable living. Imagine that but ram-packed with a lot more 'umpf' and raw in-your-face power, almost radical in their statements, but more for effect than anything else. Buying their CD's was and still is one of the best best decisions I made.
