And people underappreciate Borat 2. People dont realize that Sasha publicly said years ago that Borat 2 would never happen because it would be impossible. Too many people were familiar with Borat, and people overall had caught onto undercover pranks by now. And he was also upset by how youtubers were doing pranks that he believed violated the rules of comedy, and wanted nothing to do with it anymore. So the fact the came out of retirement to make Borat 2 is nothing short of a miracle. And people don't appreciate it because they think it's not as good as the first one.

I thought only some scenes were complete improvisation but now I came to understand almost the whole movie was done in such fashion. This is extremely hard, it is basically doing theater in a movie, no second takes. For those of you who don't know Maria Bakalova studied at the most prestigious and hardest to get into acting university in Bulgaria - the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts. She has a solid degree that prepared her so very well for this role. We as Bulgarians are insanely proud of her.

@@PASTRAMIKick Well, most people don't even suspect someone in a doctor's coat to not be an actual doctor. So when you have young impressionable girls going there, they just see a white coat and what it represents, and that way also the things he is saying seem more "valid" for them, cos...a doctor said it, so it must be right. Which is very dangerous. This guy didn't have that outfit, but he still was in a place where doctors usually are, which gives him more power to convince the girls they are making a mistake, which is equally wrong.

Man I don't blame him for not being willing to do another movie. Considering he's showing just one scene here and it was exhausting just hearing about the preparation that went into it I can't imagine the stress it takes to pull off two whole movies like that especially with the subject matters involved in the last one

The sequel is amazing, but the question I'd love to ask Sacha is "Were you depressed afterwards?" It's such a funny movie...and yet that there are these people to satire and interacting with them, it must generate some feelings of hopelessness.

It’s so nice to have this explained. I’ve always *wanted* to like his movies but never understand them enough to ‘get it’. Now I understand that the people are real but the storyline is fake & that the entire point is to see how really world people react & to mock places such as the women’s “health” clinic, it makes more sense.
