He was dead wrong about Trump and the risks and dangers he projected onto the Republic and didn’t take serious scholars of political history seriously, even conservative ones who recognized the dangerous demagoguery and populism. Never owned a tv until after my 30th birthday in 94. However, I never missed an episode of snl because my friends and often roommates watched religiously. We loved the original cast and were less enchanted until Dennis took over the news desk and Spade, Norm, Dana, Schneider, Sandler and Farley came along. You saved the show and it lives on. The few of us left alive still get together and watch your movies. Loved Spade's talk show but this is even better because I bought my way to no commercials. Keep on and Thanks.
