Infamous serial murderer Dennis Nilsen killed at least fifteen men and boys in gruesome circumstances between 1978 and 1983, and was known to retain corpses for pleasure acts. He was eventually caught after his disposal of dismembered human entrails blocked his household drains: the drain cleaning company found that the drains were congested with human flesh and contacted the police. Due to the similarities between their crimes and lifestyle, Nilsen has been referred to as the "British Jeffrey Dahmer.

Someone said if Jeffery Dahmer scares you then you've never heard of Dennis nilsen, but tbh even after watching the documentary I'd still consider Jeffery Dahmer far more scary than Dennis nilson could ever be.

What is the reason nobody ever mention that he claimed his grandpa would give him drinks on their walks and that he molested him? If you read the autobiography he wrote that was published post humous, he talks about it extensively, but even Brian Masters didnt mebtion it. Was it just not known until recently when the bio came out? Or like do people just think hes making it up?

Probably because they are claims. If they were solid then folks could speak of them without losing liability as a source of info. They don't matter since they aren't fact. This channel seems to focus on what can be proven In a psyche based KZbin or news report his autobiography might have more value. Most folks who do these autobiography lie a lot in it or embellish, it says a lot about the narcissistic mind sight they have or how trauma can damage the psych

By all accounts Nilsen was a model prisoner, and he had a very comfortable life in prison. Far more comfortable than he deserved.

Most serial killers from the golden age came from the same background: They suffered at the hands of an abusive father/mother during much of their childhood, and that a family member/friend molested them. Even though statistics show that most killers have some background of religious affiliations or roman catholics.
