It frustrates me so much when ppl use their childhoods to justify or explain their adult behavior. As a child yes u do think that it's "normal" and that all or most families must be like mine but at a certain point, a certain age, u gain an understanding that what happened to you was extremely wrong and absolutely NOT NORMAL. I will never understand how somebody would want to subject their own children to that pain & fear😩🤦‍♀️I grew up constantly saying to myself nobody will EVER lay a finger on my children and I'll give the everything I didn't have and that's exactly what I've done. When u choose to continue the abuse it's a choice and u could 100% choose to break that cycle but ppl like these monsters and so many others CHOOSE not to & my heart breaks for the babies caught in that web bc they deserve so much better 😭

I’m starting to think Rose didn’t know he’d buried bodies in the garden, she knew about the cellar ones; but she thought he’d hid Heather elsewhere; that’s why she was shocked. She probably took part in her murder though, she told the police and other family members Heather had kept in touch. Her reaction just doesn’t make sense

Why did this dude have to comment on the "Mixed Race" of the children? Why didn't that guy just leave it at Rose's 3 other kids? I see racism is still alive over there even though they ended slavery before the US. That just bugs me as someone who is mixed.

You can’t tell me there was any reason at all for that. Calling them his stepchildren, fine. But to have to throw in the mixed kids is a backhanded way to be racist.
