Even though I must have played Hide n Seek hundreds of times when I was a kid, I only remember one time specifically. When I was around eight years old we had just moved in to a new house. My sisters and I were playing and I ran as fast as I could to hide in what I thought was the hall closet. It turns out our new house had a basement. I had never lived in a house with a basement. I had nightmares about it for a while.

Your story reminds me of a hide and seek game i took part in when I was young. I was about 10 at the time and I remember because it was on my birthday 🎂 so I decided to shoplift something cool. In those days, you could buy and hold a real shotgun from a hardware store is you were 10 years old or older. So anyway while the old clerk was making a key for misses Hunsacker I just walked out the door with a loaded 12 gage shotgun in noticed. Then about 10 blocks away I heard police 🚔 cars and thus is the part where the hide and seek comes in. So I hide behind a tree 🌳 and these cops are shooting at me and I'm defending myself right? I'm shooting back because my house is just two blocks away. So I'm behind a tree. The cops can't find me, they give up snd I go home and do my home work. I left the shotgun for other children to play with because we did that stuff on the olden days..true story.. except for the part of misses Hunsacker, she dint really get a key made. It was on Sunday and she was at church but the rest of the story is absolutely true.
