Rodman's brief stint with the Mavericks is frustrating and sad. He was about 39-years-old at the time. His mind just wasn't in the game any longer; he was a real head case. But he was such a physical specimen, a physical freak of nature. I can't think of any player at that age who could still do what he was doing, which was getting down and dirty, grabbing an enormous amount of rebounds, taking hard charges and then getting up and running down the court, jumping out of bounds for loose balls, and so on. All those physical skills -- my goodness, he still had such amazing talent at the age of 39. So it is so frustrating and sad that it was all thrown away because of his mental state. 😥

@@BDmusic0001 "LeBron." What does that mean? I don't get what you're trying to say.

@@Jim_L I mean LeBron can still play at 39 years old and he still has energy like a 25 year old. FRICKIN MJ scored 51 PTS at 38. Rodman is good but still not in the level of LeBron James and Michael Jordan and still if he averages 14 rebounds, that's what he is. No difference. Oh yeah. Dirk?

@@BDmusic0001 Ah, okay. You make a good case. 👍 I will add this, though -- even at his advanced age here, IF Rodman's head was on straight, I would still select him for my team. I'd pick LeBron, Jordan, and Rodman as my first three selections. But the "IF" is just fantasyland, because his head wasn't on straight. 😥
