I love the radio show, especially to hear the elders. I only just discovered it. I'm learning Jalagi. I wish I knew more so I could understand the Cherokee conversations better. Such lovely stories, experiences, people... God bless the families of the elders passing on. Dodadagohvi.

That's what my old folks from Arkansas said "We were all poor and so we didn't know it was anything different than that, that's just how we thought the whole world was."

Oh how I thank you for this show... "Wa do" this is so special to me.. I remember my great grandmother Swimming Deer who talked mostly in Cherokee singing just like that my grandmother also then my ,mother.. These are the western band of Cherokee brought about from the trail of tears and their language is a bit different from us eastern band..but I can still understand most of what they say... this was so heartwarming .. thank you and God bless.... I am Swimming Doe Chickamauga Cherokee from the Wolf branch..
