Dennis was a great man who did what he could to try and save our planet, Sadly, greed wins out and we are seeing the beginning of the end of humanity on this earth. I think in less than 40 years mankind will be extinct or on the verge of extinction. The earth will be rid of the worst parasite to ever hit. Those who listened to gas, oil and coal executives try to play down all the risk...well, you will get what you have asked for I'm afraid. I hope making sure those billionaires could live out their lives in joy and ease was worth the planet YOUR kids, grandkids and others will not have to enjoy??? Disgusting. Thank heavens for people like Dennis and Michael Reynolds who damn sure tried. We lost to the greedy monsters.

The guy has heads of dead cows and deer antlers everywhere in here, while talking about "not killing trees". A meat-eating environmentalist is an oxymoron--otherwise, if this were Veganized (and less clashing, hideously fugly "Southwest" color scheme--seriously, how was this color scheme allowed to come into existence?), the Earthship itself and some of the architectural design of this home is cool.

+Karen Stockton You are funny! Dennis was a lifelong vegetarian. The antlers are from deer who shed them every year after rutting season. Guess you don't know much about deer. Haven't seen the cow heads. Must be hiding somewhere... The colors are favorites of his beloved wife, Gerry, who loves purple. Always good to check your facts before making comments, isn't it.

@Karen Call Dennis was a vegetarian back in 1955 before it was cool. He was also a kind and classy man devoted to environmental and humanitarian charities. What he wasn't, however, was judgemental and uninformed.
