I will tell you the true history of Pad Thai. Pad Thai didn't start with Thai people making pad Thai for American soldiers. What you said is the origin of another dish, not Pad Thai. I'll tell you about the menu you said after the pad Thai story. Pad Thai originated during World War II. During the war, Thailand had a very bad economy. Plus, the population has increased because there are a lot of immigrants coming to Thailand, especially Chinese people. Therefore, noodle dishes are influenced by China. During the war, rice was very expensive. and the prime minister at that time was a dictator and nationalist So he ordered Thai people to eat noodles instead of rice because rice is expensive. But the prime minister had thought that noodles were the food of the Chinese at that time The Prime Minister therefore ordered Thai people to create a menu that is authentic Thai but must be made from noodles. So Thai people stir fried noodles with various ingredients without making them look like Chinese at all, even the ingredients must be Thai. and then named this menu at first as Stir-Fried Noodles And during that time, Thailand changed the country's name from Siam to Thailand, and then changed the name of the new fried noodle menu to Pad Thai. This is the true history of Pad Thai. The menu part you mentioned in the video. It's an American fried rice dish. If you go for American fried rice in America, it definitely doesn't exist. because it's only in Thailand This menu originated during the Vietnam War. Thailand has given America to establish a military base in Thailand. You probably know how flavorful Thai food is. Some American soldiers were unable to eat Thai food in the early days. A restaurant owner near an American military base has devised a new recipe for American soldiers to eat. and invented fried rice with sausages, eggs, raisins and ketchup and let the American soldiers try And the response was very good, the American soldiers really liked this fried rice. The owner of the shop called this menu at first " American Soldier's Fried Rice When this menu is famous to Thai people. Thai people have changed their name to American fried rice. And there is a menu similar to American fried rice that the origin of the menu was invented by Thais for foreigners to eat especially. And it is a menu that many foreigners know that is pineapple fried rice.😁😁🙏🙏

I also recommend the crispy chicken which is always sold at the same place at that boiling chicken. The boiling chicken is called Khao Man Gai or Hainanese chicken rice. Another thing that is very popular for Thai people for the breakfast is a fried dough. It’s called Pa Tong Go. It’s very good with hot coffee.

If you stay in Thailand long enough and one day when you leave Thailand, You will feel that the price of the things you have to pay is really unreasonable. 😅

Exactly! I follow vloggers who departed Thailand to Western countries like Canada, UK, Australia etc and the food price there makes me insane. (Because they are travel vloggers, not citizens who earn the living there.)

Origen of Padthai from Thai King want Thailand to have Thai noodle dish that create in Thailand because noodle dish all are from China, so, there were competition. At that time many dishes were created
Your breakfast is called khao Mon Kai ( meaning chicken oily rice) and it is definitely be in one of the top 3 most famous dishes Thai people have everyday.1600 bahts spending per day ,consider a slightly middle class workers income in Thailand. While you in Chang Mai try to visit Wat Suan Dok talk to the monk about Buddhism and attempt meditation classes.kzbin.info/www/bejne/fIqXZYd4ftGop5I
