I always find it worse going down than going up. Imagine all those wooden rails in a heavy downpour. Would be slippery indeed.

How slippery the mud is on Oahu, I recommend really good hiking shoes, but not boots. That mud is pure grease. At least try to go when it is dry (good luck on that).

It’s interesting that you don’t mention The Four Seasons or Aulani. They’re great places to have a drink or a nice meal while visiting Ko’Olina. And is the Vintage Island Coffee? It’s gone now. :0( It loved to Kopolei

This is the first video I saw that said that Lobster was good so I guess I will try it. It had horrible reviews on other channels. I also saw a lot of great reviews for the chicken & waffles but I was disappointed when I got it. Guess it depends on which batch you get. My favorites so far was the Impossible meatball & most of the items at the Brunch booth (besides the biscuit.)

I did this!! Steep at the top but hands down my favourite hike on O'ahu. More than Moanalua Valley Trail ( that was just plain scary)

9:33- PLEASE AVOID laying down for at least 2 hrs after eating foods. If u have a full stomach then wait at least 3hrs to lay down OR go to seep while sitting down

Someone took the ropes down (I think as part of an effort to curtail people using the Moanalua Valley Trail to cut over to the stairs) So if anyone goes now, I would definitely recommend microspikes to maintain traction on the steep sections.

I've been to Railay (ray leh) many times, and yes, it's an amazing spot. Eat Thai food when you're there, it's good, don't go for the pricey stuff, they don't pull it off well, but the local stuff thats not expensive is surprisingly awesome, spicy, but awesome. Great for rock climbing, or diving, or just having a beginner muay thai lesson at view point. Not to mention the happy shakes and herb options.
