Do you like poorly edited videos that seem to lack direction and cohesion? Well this video is for you! Some rambling on my take on which of these fine turntables I prefer and will keep.

Great video. I've just come across your channel so I've got a bit of catching up to do. I recently bought a 47 and love the look of it but I need to purchase a decent amp or a receiver. Keep up the good work.

Hi. I have a 45f now. I just recapped and serviced it. I have had the 47f as well. I really like the 45f. I don't know why? Maybe it's cosmetic. They both sound the same to me. The 47f looks more substantial with it's chunky plinth, but I am drawn to the 45f. I have also had a 59, 60 model. They are nice but a little too pricey these days. Full auto is what I prefer. I can fall asleep in the chair and be happy knowing it will do it's thing. Great video too!

I love my DP 60L - Such an elegant machine, watching it get up to speed so quickly is mesmerizing.

It'll be the last turntable I sell or trade...it would need to be replaced by something very special.

that is my point i own one , much better and functional, there´s the DP-3000 professional turntable released in early 70´s that it´s even better and this only because cartridges at the time ,all were better than today´s missing part of it 5.000€ cartridge and needle, i like the grado but this price is more that i ever paid for a much better cartridge in the past ,including Grado, the cartridge and stylus from Denon from the turntables showed and the one i bought are similar but when buying my last thorens turntable ,i choose the ortofon mc type cartridge but the optional was a Denon similar to this ,not sure but i think it the same i have in the DP-60L

also i have to say that i stoped buying turntables in the 90´s but almost a year ago i went for a Burmester that i bought with a new complete system and it´s really good ,the main problem is getting more music each year and some types of production that before each band record sounded diferent from the other and there´s also old recording´s since late 40´s that i own ,have older but from my father that have know musicians playing in low-fi but interesting because they sounded already a lot good

love your collection of turntables wow I would love to spend a day in that room of turntables ,my preference would be the 47 TT it looks different and I have seen a lot of the 45's the 47 looks bigger I love the wood work on it it speaks late 70's while the 45 speaks mid 80's ,I am partial to early 70's type of turntables thats where I grew up my TT's are mostly from the early to mid 70's 3 Dual ,2 Garrard ,1 BSR 610 1985 onkyo cp-10055FII direct drive fully auto TT all working 1 pro-ject Debut 3 and an Audio Technica ATLP-120 usb both manual tried to get a Dennon 45 and 47 but they seem to expensive for me over 300.00 JRo

Haha...most have left the stable. The only Denon that made the cut is the DP 60L. That turntable is a work of art IMHO...

I have the DP-47 with the black tonearm. Your's is the second I've ever seen. The rest have silver tonearms

i wouldn´t buy neither they both have the same problem, the anti-skating +weight of the needle on the records fails for sure but they have good turntables i have one, but not with this system, it´s a very good turntable and the original mc cartridge is also very good sounding , but if forced i would choose the darker one or with a bigger plinth

I don’t know that I’d run a 45 or 47 again. I REALLY like my DP 60L - it’s a keeper for sure!

As far as I understand, these turntables have the same motors.

Could be...it would make sense.

they both are the same only for the ones who like it slim or standart ,there was a cheaper one with this system that failed along with others much more expensive, but no doubt Denon as good turntables and cartridges
