Thank you! This is very refreshing, hope to see lots more of this.... In my community there are several 20-70+ year olds who cannot function in the community without conducting themselves as they and everyone around them is pledging. The same core group hoards and pillages resources, sabotages businesses in the community, pits artist against one another at their events, engage in defensiveness, slander and public humiliation when confronted, etc. Future generations deserve better than this. In all fairness this applies to most "organizations" where people join in order to have unfair advantages over others instead of putting the work in.

You hit the nail on the head. God revealed this to me years ago and since then I have been very mindful. Once the rest of our community truly realizes those within our community who willfully help to sabotage progress, including many who have these type of affiliations, we will begin to make meaningful progress.

@@daniellesingley6090 Thank you for your response! There is a lot of work to do. Generations of deceit is involved in keeping these "organizations" afloat. It's quite obvious in some circles why these behaviors are bred on college campuses nationwide. Collectively we should ask ourselves why mocking and mimicking our ancestors for entertainment and recruitment is something to be proud of??? Evident in many cases by volunteering (literally) to be degraded/humiliated to join, b*ck dancing, branding and reenacting shackled slaves, etc... YIKES!!! Even the regalia is deceiving... toddler like clothing with loud colors and gigantic alphabets.

This is so great to hear that you all have denounce your sorority and fraternity and I too denounce my fraternity kappa from the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff of spring of 1990. As soon as I cross over I felt this demonic spirit come over me and I knew something was wrong and I just had to no longer be part of an organization like that and I just left and never look back. I know that God has a plan for you all. I would like to say welcome sisters and brother of Jesus Christ and May the Most High God richly bless you all 🙏

Can you explain to us non- sorority and non-fraternity members why its necessarily to undergo legal means to get out of these groups? What type of contract do you all have to sign when you join?

Shalum, great question. The black greek letter organizations requires you to sign a contract, just like an employer would for liability purposes in the natural realm. However, in the spiritual realm its used to sign your soul legally over to the kingdom of darkness

I feel as though nothing can come between God and his people, except maybe a person's sins. God is on the outside of it all. Also, you guys act as if a mere denouncement is appeasing but how? You're still holding on to secrets. Is it just the point of the oath or the actions of the organizations? Like not being apart of a crime is better than not reporting a crime, so to speak?

I'm a Christian and there is nothing evil about Fraternities and Sororities. I'm truly sorry that some individuals feel this way. I do not agree with hazing at all, but it is only a mind game. I do apologize to those who experienced physical hazing, and the individuals who did the hazing were confused and really don't understand the true purpose of their organizations. All chapters do not haze and everyone does not experience it. My Fraternity will never be above God. The bottom line is unity, education, and community service in the Black Community. @T Smith, you are correct about the good that these organizations do, however how does a follower of the Supreme Creator reconcile the Egyptian and Greek gods associated with these organizations? Exodus 20: 3-6 clearly states how YHWH feels about that. As a former member of dst, Minerva is the official goddess used and sits on the crest of the organization....Holy Spirit made it clear to me, how can you claim that I love YHWH but have a false god represented and proudly wear on my chest? (Have you taken the time to breakdown your org crest/sheild according to the Word of Elohim?) Again He's a jealous God, how can I do that and think it didnt grieve Him? Once I could honestly answer that question thats when Holy Spirit showed me that I was an error. I had a choice to make and I chose the living God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob. That's the beautiful thing about YHWH, He's a gentleman and wont force us to do anything. He provides us with the facts and allows us to figure it out before its too late. His mercy and grace is overwhelming and thats why these former members of these organizations have the joy of sharing their deliverance from Egyptian, Greek and Roman ideologies and concepts. As followers of Ha Mashiach, we are tobe set apart from this world and its ideologies. @@Yadine369 Minvera is a symbol of wisdom , as is the elephant a symbol , the duck , the African violet etc . Just as many schools / colleges crest bear things that aren’t all Christ symbols . You know all these organizations are founded on Christian principles and beliefs ( which I don’t consider myself ) and the founding of them we who are black Greek know how and why they were founded . I don’t worship Delta I don’t put it above my life it is an asset to through the service I give my community, sisters in Delta. Your bible verses you can keep sis I’m a descendent of African people as you and others who all know what the Bible is and what it was used for . I’m not religious I am spiritually and believe there is God a God of love and God that bought men and women together that I have as sisters who have been by my side through the hood and bad in my life a bond that goes beyond Delta.

If you Denounce your organization, you should never have pledged! That's your weak assed decision. If you Disagree, it's at least still in heart. Enough to care. It never leaves.
