DENSO INJECTOR REPLACEMENT INFORMATION

COMMON RAIL DIESEL INJECTORS WERE STUCK. This is why. Things can get much worse not only cracked pistons but complete oil starvation to the whole system including turbo. This is not a TOYOTA problem ITS POOR WORKMANSHIP. This can happen on most common rail diesels. Referred to as blow by. Injector seats leaking.
Unsealed 4x4.
Fourby4diesel.

Excellent forensics Anthony. Should be compulsory viewing at Diesel qualifier's courses. Maintenance, maintenance or bing butta bang and it's toast. My ol Isuzu is not common rail but has pipes to each injector. You are a champ for sharing. I watch because I love to learn and be informed about the complex diesel world. Nice work, thanks again, on behalf of all of us, even the guys who don't watch em all.

Man you are totally right, I went to check for some mechanic shops to do them for my toyota but when i saw how they where doing the jobs on the other ones i decided to do it myself, thanks for the video.

Hello i have recently discovered your channel as I'm a diy'er looking to purchase a hilux and know very little of diesels and your videos have been excellent in explaining to me the ins and outs of these engines. It seems like a lot of the reported issues flying about on the internet are just from bad workmanship.....do you hage a video on cleaning the ports? Looks tricky to clean out without getting too much junk in the bore.

I watched your wonderful video. Very useful. Tell me, the nozzles cannot be swapped? I.e. they need to be put in the place from where they were pulled out? And is it better to buy new washers, or should these be cleaned and installed?Thanks!

Hi good work. Can the injector pipe leak diesel into the chamber causing diesel and oil to mix? I have a problem on my 2007 Avensis 2,2d4d T25 diesel and oil mixing. Please give me some advise. TiA

I have 2005 lexus is220d had injector seals replaced due to one failing. 6 months later I can now again smell exhaust when driving. I know only 4 were changed. Would the 5th injector be the problem or "poor workmanship" and not cleaning the engine properly before replacing the seals?

As I lift the the hood in my touita avensis the injector are numbered i to 4 from the left????

Hey mate i have a 2006 1kd hilux and every now and again it blows a big blue oily smoke cloud just on start up it happens only when its been parked for about 40mins/ 1hour ish. 260k on the clock and has a little bit of a ruff idle it doesn't blow black smoke or anything please help thanks
