Would a shop just replace the injectors instead of cleaning them up like this? Are there other things than this clogging up that can fail on injectors?

No, there is a tank on the injector which can get blocked up, this is just cosmetic, injectors are high psi, I doubt blowing out the end with an aerosol would make any difference

Hello my friend, Lexus/Toyota is the best Car and then comes Honda/Subaru. Toyota is better than Honda because of the following reasons: 1) Toyota car construction Engineering skills in car parts are better 2) Toyota maintenance and repair procedures are easier and faster than Honda 3) Toyota branded spare parts service works better and faster 4) Toyota brand service is better 5) Toyota brand car salesmen are better 6) Toyota keeps its resale price better than Honda 7) It is better to get old demolition parts for Toyota than for Honda And PS,... I now only have 2 Lexuses and 4 Toyotas and even one Honda. 😁😂😂😂

The issue I can after cleaning is that the injector is no longer the same as the original assembled part. I think this may affect the calibration of the injector.

Some small changes, maybe the gas hole. Toyota always choose right side parts to different sizes for engine power classes. a smaller part brought action in some way Ok. Test it!
