Have you ever heard of personal health insurance stepping up to cover the oral parts of the surgery, maybe even some of the implants cost due to health issues (heart & autoimmune disease) if your doctors are saying your teeth are being effected/crumbling due to these health problems?

No. Unfortunately the medical insurance industry believes dentures are a viable solution to teeth.

Okay I'll leave my information.... I'm in Sacramento, I am on SSI so I live in poverty, I lost my teeth due to a combination of a medication I took and a autoimmune condition I have. Am really tired of people thinking it's drug use and stereotyping me... So the reason why I cannot wear dentures is because I cannot wear those plates on the roof of the mouth due to my medical condition. However, Medi - Cal Dental will not cover anything other than crappy regular dentures that I am unable to wear because of the plates, I'm not sure what they're called. I would love to get it done so I can smile again, and because I've been widowed for 8 years I would like to meet someone and marry again, but that's not going to happen when one has no teeth. I also choke on my food & I'm afraid I'm going to end up getting killed that way! I simply do not have the money to get done what I need done which would be a 4 in all. 🙂🌷🐾🐾 But I would do anything (almost!) to get this done. I had to bury my husband and two children and it would be nice to have something good happen in my life. Thanks for listening.

Hello Dr.O I am a dental assistant I have a brother who has cerebral palsy and I would love to know what would the process look like for a patient with cerebral palsy look like would implants work for them .would a specalist be able to see him? @@InnovativeDentalofSpringfield Wow, that's so crazy! I wondered what was going on. Ok, I have a friend who's daughter gum where very damaged when her upper teeth were pulled . So much that she hasn't been able to where her dentures. Now they have x-ray her and said that she has no bone at all to even drill implants in. The Dr said that her face is litterly dropping/cave in and w/out a bone graph. They will not be able to put implants, she will be fed thru feeding tube and that she could potentially die. I am hopeful that you will have an extraordinary resolution for this. Also they live in VA and on Medicaid/Medicare. I believe though, that if need be - she has a following and could do a fundraiser to help cover the cost. Thank You for responding!

A smoker with a rotten full tooth (all chopped to half size and black, that needs full mouth implant, how much the Total estimation would be? Previously u advised me implant, we in Kenya but you are the only person I trust for this ...once we come to America will come to u straight. There are better options out there. Just look! I have a local dental place around here in Michigan called “Affordable Dentures & Implants”, and they do full implants-surgery and all-for $16k. The money saver is that they make the dentures & implants on-site themselves. The business is very reputable & all above board. I even asked my original childhood dentist about them & he believes them to be solid. That’s just one option…they also have plans for partial dentures that range from $2k to $6k. The $16k is the most expensive & it’s full mouth denture-implant. I had an appointment, but I’m very nervous about getting all my teeth ripped out & wearing a temporary denture for six months while my mouth heals before they can put in the implant. So…I’m waiting to get the courage up. This is the thing I want most in the world, but my dental anxiety has been an issue. It’s always been an issue, hence why my teeth are not the best in the first place. My biggest issue was that my teeth have always been so small…look like baby teeth pretty much. I also had one less tooth grow in than what is normal (don’t know why), just how it grew in I guess. My small teeth would break way too easily, which obviously has been an issue. So…I still have my front teeth, but many are chipped. Most of my back teeth are gone due to broken teeth/extractions. I absolutely want this procedure, just very nervous how to go about it. They don’t put you all the way out, just make it so you’re as relaxed as can be. I wish I had the courage to do this. I have the ability-have the $16k to spend-just don’t have the courage. Also…the $16k isn’t due all at once. You need to pay at least half down when you go to get sized/mouth measurements, and then the rest just needs to be paid within that 6 month period of getting healed before getting the final implants in. I think they’re confident that you’ll pay fully in order to get your final product after struggling through the Bs temporary denture. 😂 Last thing anyone wants is to be a gummy.

We are $12,450 for the same thing so it looks like we are more reasonable. Thanks for the info Tommy. We also have an in house lab. Our patients are hardly ever required to wear a denture. They get screwed in sets of teeth within a couple hours after we remove their old ones.

People who need this work done the most are going to be the people who are on SSI and are unable to pay for it. Any payments over $30./a month would be too much for someone on SSI.
