Omg, you inspire me so much. I'm just finishing classes to become a dental assistant. Going back next month to get my prereqs out the way then dental school. It's going to be a long 8 years but worth it.

thank you for addressing the issue of anxiety. it is a small but powerful message because i think often many of us view other people successes as though they have not struggled. but it's the opposite which is true, those people who have made those successes, accomplished things like taking the DAT, getting into medical school & etc, have dealt with turbulence in their lives but were resilient. we often think that because we carry this identity of "dentists" or "doctors" that we are suddenly infallible or should be and maintain that type of persona. thank you for sharing your videos and continuing to inspire a line of aspiring dentists!

Good luck with Dental school! Congrats as well! That being said, dental school is 4 years of horror. Then you graduate with over 400k of debt. Insurance sucks balls, good luck dealing with HMOs and people who won't understand that they need SRPs and only want their basic cleanings. None of this is covered in school, because everything is prepackaged and delivered neatly in an ideal situation.
