If not then we should get the PR ist and then get enrolled in programme so we could get the loan?

aisha anwer hello doctor, very good question i must say. The answer is yes you can do a part time job while being enrolled into a student visa course and the limit is 20-24 hours per week. Legally you can work that much per week. And having s PR and coming to Canada and then studying can give you even more benefits with loans compared to student visa. Hope this helped doctor 😎

Hello doctor!, although there are many classes here in Canada and now a days they provide them online as well. But if we are on the phase 1 of preparation, I strongly recommend using the NDEB reference link I mentioned in this comment. This page shows us all articles that NDEB follows, they are listen past page 11. These articles are just as important as studying from textbooks. I would recommend printing them and highlighting points and studying. Later begin the released questions also. Now, if you do need textbooks approved by the NDEB, then I can provide you the access to those online. I sell access to those books.

@TheToothFactory

Yes, you are right. So I recommend going through the student visa, then during work permit study for AFK, and apply for university, by the time you get to the stage where you apply for university, you would have finished you NDEB equivalency and studied for AFK, once your work permit turns in to PR, you can apply for university. Meanwhile, you can finish AFK early and go through the ACJ and ACS as well after which you can also take University route and who knows maybe you get a licences and you could be okay with it as well. So it is a matter of starting in your work permit time.

Hey, I'll be moving to Ontario as an international student, I'm planning to have braces so are braces includes in college health insurance and if not..if someone already had it from India and want to continue the treatment in Ontario then how much will it cost? Same as original cost or less as only maintenance will be done then ..and also if I intend to start the treatment there itself then how much will it cost?
@TheToothFactory
@TheToothFactory 3 жыл бұрын
Hello, this is a good question. So I strongly do not recommend flying with mid-treatment of orthodontics because the approach of two orthodontists can be different. Also, it is not covered in the health insurance. It is around the cost of $7000-10,000 approximately. This can however change if one has a full-time job which for international student is not possible as there is a cap of hours of employment during studying.

Sir im a canadian citizen but i completed my degree from india. Im currently doing my internship here in india. Is it impossible for someone with a few supplies or detainments in bds to clear the afk and get the license?

Hello, I took the same route. I am Canadian and I went to India for my BDS. We do not have an upperhand we are equal to any other applicant. Also, the whole concept is based on preparation so few supplies or study resources will make it more difficult. We will soon be making a video on what and how to study AFK.

Although what most MDS practitioners from India do is, they come to Canada to get the DDS license. See your study and experience as an MDS is far more than needed for a DDS license. You are able to clear exams of just DDS better and faster than regular students. So i do strongly suggest you chase after DDS rather than MDS. It is not impossible for you to come s peds dentist here but it is more likely you will become a DDS general dentist.

Shifa faizal Habib hello doc so the United states works a little different. They now have an exam called INBDE which now clubs both part 1 and part 2 as previously done separately. Once you clear those exams you are eligible to apply for the DDS program at a University there. You must wait to be accepted and then go through the four years of DDS and clear the national boards to become a licensed dentist. While in Canada, you can still become a Licensed Dentist by taking exams through the equivalency process of NDEB.

There are three major exams that you must clear and then a set of board exams that every dental student in Canada takes. This process can take anywhere from 2-5 years depending on how you perform sir. The job opportunities are high in demand for health care workers including dentists. The salaries can range anywhere from $70,000 to $140,000 depending on where you are in the country and your position in a clinic. Well experienced dentist in Canada can earn upto $200,000 as per my observation. Hope this helped doc!

Hello, doctor I'm thinking in applying to dental assistant in Canada, if I do this program. I could apply for post working permit? And my dream is to become a dentist in canada

Dental joker yes doctor you can achieve your work permit after dental assisting but if you are willing to get through your PR application your career choice must be under a certain class of class A or B or O. Dental assisting is class C . This means it disqualifies your credential in your PR application. So I recommend reconsideration in the choice of your course accordingly.

Dentistry in Canada costs more than anyone can afford. Outrageous greed .

Hello Doctor, I respect your sentiment and believe it or not, getting through this process is just as draining. Although, the standardization of Canadian Dentistry is highly rewarding. The NDEB has also taken into account the affordability in the recent year and have changed their fees to cheaper costs for the AFK and Registration as well.
