Hello doctor!, although there are many classes here in Canada and now a days they provide them online as well. But if we are on the phase 1 of preparation, I strongly recommend using the NDEB reference link I mentioned in this comment. This page shows us all articles that NDEB follows, they are listen past page 11. These articles are just as important as studying from textbooks. I would recommend printing them and highlighting points and studying. Later begin the released questions also. Now, if you do need textbooks approved by the NDEB, then I can provide you the access to those online. I sell access to those books.

But to get in an IDAPP or internationally dentist advanced placed program,they require PR or Canadian citizenship..in all universities! What should I do about that? I'm moving to Canada next year and I'm still confused since now the licensing has become so difficult with 4 exams to pass! How did you get placed? Do lemme know please.
@TheToothFactory3 жыл бұрын
Yes, you are right. So I recommend going through the student visa, then during work permit study for AFK, and apply for university, by the time you get to the stage where you apply for university, you would have finished you NDEB equivalency and studied for AFK, once your work permit turns in to PR, you can apply for university. Meanwhile, you can finish AFK early and go through the ACJ and ACS as well after which you can also take University route and who knows maybe you get a licences and you could be okay with it as well. So it is a matter of starting in your work permit time.

Hey, I'll be moving to Ontario as an international student, I'm planning to have braces so are braces includes in college health insurance and if not..if someone already had it from India and want to continue the treatment in Ontario then how much will it cost? Same as original cost or less as only maintenance will be done then ..and also if I intend to start the treatment there itself then how much will it cost?
@TheToothFactory3 жыл бұрын
Hello, this is a good question. So I strongly do not recommend flying with mid-treatment of orthodontics because the approach of two orthodontists can be different. Also, it is not covered in the health insurance. It is around the cost of $7000-10,000 approximately. This can however change if one has a full-time job which for international student is not possible as there is a cap of hours of employment during studying.

Once you clear those exams you are eligible to apply for the DDS program at a University there. You must wait to be accepted and then go through the four years of DDS and clear the national boards to become a licensed dentist. While in Canada, you can still become a Licensed Dentist by taking exams through the equivalency process of NDEB.
