UPDATE in April 2024: I did a new video showing tons of new spots to sleep at the Denver Airport: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iZmweJmKfNeVbrc

Strongly considering an overnight layover here in October! Hoping this is still how it is later this year. Thanks for the info!

A unique offering to the viewer. Thank you. You helped answer my question and you did it very clearly.

12:03 talks about construction near sleeping area 14:16 arrival to sleeping area (finally)
@PokoTraveler2 жыл бұрын
Part of the reason that video was longer was to show someone how to get there from a different concourse, using the train. But also, the construction has since stopped, so you can reference the original video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/lWTbm6malN2sm6s

Sorry to hear it was so crowded! Were you still able to find or get a spot? I've been by there a few more times at varying parts of the day; so far I've still found a spot each time, but it has been crowded a couple times (especially since the construction is no longer taking place).
@kimchikym2 жыл бұрын
@@PokoTraveler yes I did! I ended up going to the c gates and finding one of the long couches that sit against the wall and slept on there and it was pretty quiet in that terminal

@@kimchikym Nice! I've been to Denver for layovers probably like 15 times before, lol, but it's always been to either the A gates or B gates. I'll have to curiously check the C gates some time.

Is this always open or does it have certain hours? Have you been back since this video? Curious if it’s easier to access now or still the same?
@PokoTraveler Жыл бұрын
Yes, I've been back several times. The construction is done, so it's back to being more like how it was here: kzbin.info_3xjvd_xyeI?feature=share It is always open, 24/7. Last time I was there for an overnight stay, I got back to the airport around 12:30 am, and all spots were taken.

@@PokoTraveler awesome. Thank you so much. Traveling through Denver w a 6 hour layover from 1-7am soon 😩

@@PokoTraveler one more question. Any dining options near by during these hours?
@PokoTraveler Жыл бұрын
@@DegenDiver I know the McDonald's locations are supposed to be open 24/7, I was eating some around 2 am. I think everything else in the airport is closed.

You sleep there for free?

Do you think the construction is still going on? I'll be there this Weekend
@PokoTraveler2 жыл бұрын
The construction up there was gone when I went in August 2022 & September 2022. Therefore, you should be able to follow the original video instead: kzbin.info/www/bejne/lWTbm6malN2sm6s

it so diffrent from Winnipeg air port

I've never been to the Winnipeg Airport, but what's so different?
@beehaas9400 Жыл бұрын
This is probably a dumb question but why is there a sleeping spot?
@PokoTraveler Жыл бұрын
Haha, it's not a dumb question, considering I don't know of any other airports that have one that any passengers can use. I'm not sure why Denver has it, but if they didn't have it there, it would just be a big empty space.
@Kyrohnics Жыл бұрын
Maybe because it’s the biggest airport in the us?

They couldn't have made that place more unfriendly for a single woman traveler if they tried. ಠ_ಠ
@PokoTraveler2 жыл бұрын
Are you referring to the sleeping area, or the way in which I had to get there? There is no longer construction in this area, so you can take the normal escalator and open area to get there. As for the sleeping area itself, I've seen plenty of individual women and everyone else rest there with no issues.
@alinakalina1332 жыл бұрын
Does this place usually get full by night time? Or are there spots left?
@PokoTraveler2 жыл бұрын
I've been there 3 or 4 times total, and it has never been completely full. With the construction going on now too, I think it'll be even less crowded.
@PokoTraveler2 жыл бұрын
I laid over there again at about 10:30 pm on Monday. There were about 8 spots open, like usual. Shortly after I sat down, though, a group of 4, group of 3, and a couple groups of 2 came by, and I think all spots were taken. I was surprised.

So anyone is allowed?
@PokoTraveler2 жыл бұрын
You'll see signs posted that say, "Ticketed passengers only." This might come off confusing at first, but all it means is that only people who are flying can use that resting area (not pilots or workers who work at the airport). So yes, anyone waiting for a flight can use it.
