As a Utah fan and Broncos fan, Nix and Franklin are great picks, you got to respect someone who broke Utah's home win streak. Ellis is a monster to get in the third round. Vele is also very sneaky to get in the 7th round, he was very reliable at Utah for Rising and Barnes. He's Tim Patrick for the future. Which is great as a fan of both teams. Love our other picks and our free agents. Especially Yassmin. 6 Utes at Denver now. Absolutely amazing.

I think George Paton deserves more credit along with Sean Payton with the draft. He now has an experienced HC with a vision and system, that can tell him exactly what he needs, and is looking for. That's how the GM/HC relationship should work.

@@Alex_Hankebad QB play and a bunch of unfortunate injuries plus bad coaching. Fangios offense was extremely predictable and the QBs played bad. Hackett was terrible plus Russ. We improved heavy this past year IMO so with a good offseason and good draft we are heading in the right direction for sure

I loved this draft the only thing I wished was that we could build up the interior defensive line more and have more diversity in WR room instead of just speed and tall/strength. But then again we never reached so we got good players in positions of need. I am sure this will translate to wins for the upcoming years.

Love how 40 time is equal to game speed for some ppl…watch his film, all he did was out run defenders at Notre dame. Reminds me of back in the day KC head coach talking about TD, “all I hear is his 40 time being slow and every game I see him breaking 50-60 yard touchdowns”.

4.5 is what he ran at his pro day once he practiced the lead off technique and that 4.5 at the pro day is what the game speed shows on film because if he hits the hole and gets up to full speed behind the defense they can’t catch him unless it’s a run that started way down on its own 10-39 yard line he’d get ran down by a db eventually after about 35/40 yards of burst!!!! So in the red zone he’ll be scoring long 20-35 yard touchdowns

Pro day 40 times are never trusted. Estime is going to have a hard time being an every down back with his lack of speed. They drafted him for short yardage and goal one because that was a major need. Blake Watson will be one of the best signings of the offseason.

@@cleomacy4402 have you seen him play goofy??? Noway in hell he runs a 4.7 in the film I watched. That’s more like 4.5 4.6 speed cuz he don’t got break away speed once he’s hit 35-40 yards!!!! Once he hit 35-40 yards he starts getting ran down by the faster corners. But 40 yards on in he takes it to the house with great burst and power this dude is like fresh Ja vontae before the knee issue but better lane vision skills javonte runs into the back of his OLinemen a lot which stops his momentum a lot but having essente Ja vontae McLaughlin Blake watson is a very formidable group

The Broncos overcame not having a 2nd round pick by the sneaky picks in the third, fourth and fifth rounds! Got to give George Paton a lot of credit -- despite the Russ Wilson fiasco he's a talented team manager.

Yeah, on paper he looks wonderful. Just let me remind you that on paper, Tim Tebow looked great, too. He's got a ton of work to do. He's blessed in that he worked in a pro-style offense at Oregon, but he also threw the vast majority of his passes at the line of scrimmage (Teddy Bridgewater, anyone?) so, we got a guy who MAY be a QB of the future. I hope the coaching staff works him hard and teaches him lots.

Idk what these "expert's" are smoking Bo Nix wasn't going past the Raiders. After what ATL pulled. I'm glad Sean and George didn't get cute with it. Despite the lack of 2nd round picks, I think the Broncos did a fantastic job of the recourses they were delt with. And the common theme is these guys they've picked up they're already proven, and have a ton of experience. Which I also like. I'd give the Broncos an B for this draft class.

Also our RB from Norte dame ram a 4.7 at combine but went and trained at it for his pro day and ran a 4:5!!!!! He didn’t care bout the 40 yard dash pre combine since he’s a power back and if you watched him play you can see his speed is about 4.5 because when he hits open field full steam they can’t catch him

No we didnt. Aside from Nix who im so happy about, Ellis was man handled by every big LT he played against. He has a motor but is too weak and not fast enough. Franklin is basically another Jeudy, who didnt work in our offense and we already have a fast little guy in Mims who was average last year. This is how important second round picks are in the NFL. And get ready cuz we have the bottom 3 DLine in the league for 2024.

Cortland Sutton needs to get his act together we gave dude a huge contract and then he got hurt and was trash for 3 years straight until this past season with russ targeting him every damn play! You’ll get an extension after doing it one more time with nix!!!!! You are the number one with one year of good play after getting the big contract. Courtland used to always show up to the voluntary stuff and now he’s not because he’s upset Wilson Simmons and basically everyone from 5-6 years ago is gone lol what did he think was gonna happen? They didn’t produce and we had young guys drafted to take they spots for cheap like Simmons man I love him but we don’t need to pay that much for him when he’s on decline not doing much AND we have very talented young safeties behind him. The broncos don’t plan on dumping you Sutton you’ll get the new contract if you do it again this year with nix!
