The NFL Draft is just a few days away and insiders are making major predictions that the Denver Broncos will trade up for JJ McCarthy while others are making major predictions that Sean Payton will trade back for Bo Nix... In this video I break down who is saying what and which solution I prefer. I gotta hear from y'all in Broncos country. Do you want us to trade up for JJ or back for Bo Nix?!? Don't listen to Darren. Nobody knows how the draft will pan out. And none of us will know what didn't happen after the draft. If you don't trade up for or draft a QB at 12, you will probably miss out on the so-called top QBs. I just don't want to see 64 players disappear before we draft again at 76.

Why risk it though? If the QB is the most important position why risk it? I really like Bo Nix and i think teams are bluffing on him and will snatch him up. The guy is a little older, more mature, has plenty of big game experience, and can actually stand in the pocket and throw... i think there is a good chance he'll end up being the best QB out of the draft. JJ McCarthy has not had to carry the load. Michigan was built on strong defense, strong run game, and only asked him to dink and dunk when needed.

You have Zach Wilson at QB go after Bowers. If he busts get a better QB in next year's draft. If a QB is around second pick grab one this year. Run with stinum or whatever his name is. Be patient this year

He was basically given to us for free. Would the Bills give Allen up for nothing? Would KC give Mahomes up for nothing? You don’t give a playoff caliber QB away for nothing. He will compete with Stid for bridge/backup. Nothing has changed with the draft.

People act like the best QB to ever play the game didn’t come out of the 4th round (not saying we are going to find another Brady this year.) Also how many QB’s drafted high never pan out? The draft is a gamble and the stars must align for any player at every position to work out. I want to see them draft the best player at 12, edge rusher or CB is the best bet imo

Maybe they're trying to build a team around a lot of 7 and 8s instead of a 10 surrounded by 4s? I don't know, but I trust that Sean has a plan that's what he's doing. This is his chance to build the teams that he wants. So if we suck this year, he has nobody to blame.

What is more likely is that Stidham is going to start in 2024. Bo Nix is at least two years from being able to do that.

Theres no comparison between Wilson and Brees. Wilson has been a disappointment from his first start. Brees progressively got better with each season. Only reason Brees was released from the Chargers was because the new Charger GM did not draft Brees. They drafted Philip Rivers and wanted their guy to start not the last regimes player to start. Add that Brees had a serious shoulder injury which gave the GM a reason to release him. If the Chargers would have kept Brees and traded away Rivers. Good chance Brees would have had a similar career as Rivers. Wilson on the other hand sucked from day one with NYers screaming for his head.

3:27 every single QB doesn’t have an equal chance of succeeding. Drake Maye has a much better chance of hitting than Bo Nix. Also you keep saying “36% of success”, but that Reality isn’t suddenly changing in 2025, or 2026. At some point, you have to take a swing, and whenever that moment is, the Odds of success will still be low.

Arizona Cardinals pick at number four and already have a quarterback. They desperately need a CB. I say we entice them with Patrick Sertan and maybe throw in an additional fourth rounder to seal the deal. This allows us to keep pick number 12 as well and if Brock Bowers isn’t there, we can still pick a decent replacement for PS2 🤷

Pick number four is too early to be drafting and unproven young corner. Their other needs are edge and running back. Obviously, you can get RB. in the later round and they can get a decent edge with their second first round pick at 27. There aren’t any big-time players worthy of the number four pick
