The NFL Just Gave the Denver Broncos a Massive Gift

While my initial reaction last night was that the Denver Broncos got hosed by the NFL in their schedule release, after looking at the gauntlet facing the Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles Chargers, I feel like Sean Payton and Bo Nix have a path paved for them to the NFL Playoffs. In this video we break down why the schedule plays out perfectly for the Denver Broncos to win more than the projected 5.5 games! Am I taking crazy pills or do you think our schedule plays out better than our AFC West Rivals?

The commissioner does not have his thumb on the scheduled games scale. It's a random "least squares" program. The reason the Chargers and the Raiders have an easy schedule is because we play each other and except for KC are considered weak opponents. Who knows who will be good and who won't, it's a guess now before the season. What is likely is a 20-25% turn over for playoff spots. Here's hoping for a tough Bronco defense so they can run the ball and grind out some wins. Thanks brother, I appreciate your enthusiasm. Appreciated.

Well Ben, I see that the Broncos were ranked 30th in power rankings. This will tell us 2 things: if it's true, we'll be in awesome position in the draft; or, if not, maybe it'll shut the mouths if all the naysayers. No matter what, I'm thinking 9 --10 wins for our Broncos. I think that I would love to see Stidham beat Russell Wilson, but I'd be happy either way, with Bo under center. Much love Broncos Country! Payton gained 3 games in his first season so when he gains 3 in 24/25, we win 11 and probably make the postseason. He has a better QB now.

Russell Wilson was never going to work in Sean Payton's system, and refused to do a lot of the plays where SP thrives as a coach, and the team suffered for it heavily. Not to mention, Russell Wilson is on the tail end of his career and is kind of stuck in his ways from the Pete Carroll days, is 5'11 and couldnt see over the O-linemen to get the ball out in a scheme all about getting the ball out as fast as possible. Whereas Bo is 6'2, is a 24 year old rookie on his way to his physical prime, and will be able to train to work specifically in Payton's scheme, which should eliminate all the problems we had with Russ.

Unfortunately the three games to finish 10-7 rather then 7-10 are exponentially more difficult to flip. I have them playing better/different, running the rock and hopefully a top 10 defense. With a top 1/3 (league) defense I could see 8 or 9 wins....hopefully a lucky win or two, they're due some luck.

Payton should still be rotting in a federal prison. As for the schedule, it will be tough with 9 road games. I see us winning 6 if everything goes right, 3 if we’re unlucky. If the Chiefs rest guys in week 18, could be an unexpected win.

raiders are not "below us" as far as strength of schedule. they are #10 on the list. And KC doesn't have a bye week on week 5. It's week 6. I'm a die hard Broncos fan too but come on man, gotta mind your Ps and Qs. Also, just a recommendation - every time you miss your shot at the end, nobody wants to see your "uhhhh" face. It's not pleasant!

lol This schedule is fucked. 13 fucking games straight , that’s basically an entire season. In addition to traveling back to back weeks against the Ravens and then Chiefs at the end of that is fucked. 9 away and 8 home is fucked. First 4 games is a 3/1 split away. Not a great start. I have faith thiugh, wild card would be nice. Looking forward to Bo. I like the odds of us competing 2025/2026

What can I say? No makes until there's no "giddy-up." 😁 BTW, for several decades, when the NFL was playing a 16 game season, there were no byes. So going 13 games without a bye, is actually 3 games shorter than what those teams up to 1990 had to play. If we make the playoffs--and I know most fans and pundits don't think we have a chance--a week 14 bye is perfect.

Ben...I have read quite a bit about "bounty gate", & while it is true that there are indications & rumors that other teams were frequently involved in similar actions relative to compensation for hits on opposing players, I have seen nothing at all to indicate that "most reputable reporters" have claimed that "every single...franchise in the NFL" was engaged in some form of this behavior. In point of fact I have seen NO reporter, reputable or not, make the claim that ALL teams were doing this. I get your efforts to counter balance the hateful rhetoric we see coming out of every corner of the league including the Bronco fan base for this team right now. But if you're going to make a statement like that without evidence...not good my friend. That said...the balance of evidence I have seen seems to suggest two things; 1) that no actual proof exists that Payton himself was involved in the bounty payment scheme, & 2) that Goodell's punishment basically treated it as a civil tort, meaning that he either "knew or SHOULD HAVE KNOWN" (key phrase) what was going on. The ringleader of this thing was DC Greg Williams, who BTW...coached in Denver under Vance Joseph in 2018 when he as the DB coach...which is weird. Whether Payton should have known is debatable, I would say he probably should have, but that's no evidence that he did. Either way, I'm not buying that this permeated every team in the NFL. Several other teams have been mentioned, including the Washington Redskins, as offenders. I have seen nobody claim that ALL NFL teams were doing this.

I have been a Broncos fan since I was six years old(1986) and my roommates have been Colts fans since they moved to Indy. We are going to the Broncos/Colts game this year. We are so excited for the future of our franchises. Hopefully we whoop the Colts, I can't listen to another year of them gloating lol.
