Yeah, I currently reside in Bmore now. I think it's a "fun" city to live in, but no way in hell would I ever raise a family here. I'd have to agree that the 60's was the peak of the city, and it went downhill from there. Imo, a lot of the problems stem from Jim Crow era, red-lining policies. The worst parts of the cities tend to be the ones that were intentionally disenfranchised in disinvested in.
